I just read a book called The Prophecy of the Stones. It was written by this girl named Flavia Bujor, who was 13 when she wrote it. The book is about 3 girls named Opal, Jade, and Amber, and they are destined to save a land called Fairytale. If you like fantasy and adventure, then read this book!

Could you tell more about it?

Mmmmm... OK. They are each raised by a person who they thought was their mother/father/other relative. On their 14th birthdays(the same day) they are each given a bag with the stone of their name in it (ie Opal gets an opal). Then, they meet up with each other and go to save Fairytale, the one land that is still free, from these evil Councillors and their Army of Darkness. It is really good and suspenseful, even though it sounds a bit corny.

It was made by a 13 year old, I would imagine the plot would souns somewhat cheesy.

Is that an insult to us 13 year olds?! j/k

Actually, she's an internationally acclaimed literary sensation.

*sigh*

Makes me jealous... I wrote a book when I was 12, but I never ended up submitting it because I thought it wasn't good enough. Now I wonder...I think my plot was at least as feasible. :P

Starchaser, you should submit it, if you still have it, just for the heck of it. Who knows, maybe it would get published!

I write stories but don't submit them, plus I write a page then get bored then comeback an hour later then write one more page, not the makings for a good arthur.

Starchaser you could always take the storyline and re-write it in a more mature professional fashion unless the storyline wasn't good to you.

Hmm, that sounds interesting...I've never heard of it, though. :\

Yeah, I've had a plot for a story floating around in my head for quite a while now...I might submit some of the chapters someday *shrugs*

I might have to disagree with that. I live in a pretty international city and I go to an international school but I don't think many people have heard of her. Usually if a particularly young person writes a sensational book the news spreads around like wildfire and gets around in a few days. I think maybe she is a national sensation but not an international one as of yet.

It sounds like a book I would enjoy. Although the name 'Fairytale' is probably the most unimaginative name in the world, I promise to try it this summer. :)

The sounds a lot like a manga by clamp. You know. Rayearth? I don't really like magical girl stories.

I saw the book in a shop, leafed through, didn't seem so great.
