Ryoko wasn't used to so many following the example of one person. She didn't even like being one of them. She growled softly to herself. She didn't like being just part of a crowd. She liked to be different by doing the opposite of everyone else. If one other had the same idea it was fine with her, but this was to many.

Ryoko rolled her eyes. They just couldn't think of anything else except follow the leader. Copycats! That's what they were! Copycats! Ryoko smiled at the word. She hated cats. To her they were just cats. *They have no minds of their own.* she thought. It was amusing to make fun of the others.

She frowned though. The king was on edge. *Why should I care what's going through his mind?* she asked herself. But it made her uneasy none the less. Then she remembered him saying something about not remembering that he had invited someone. Maybe he feared they were an enemy? Bah! She was the one he should have been worried about!

Amdir looked at Shenol. He was acting strangely, glancing towards the back of the room every now and then, as if he were being followed. Yet there was nothing, except for those already there... and then--a glow, but just for a split second. Amdir took no mind of it--she did not know if it was the bunny-human or what ever it was had magic or not, and if he did, if that was part of his magic.
"It's alright, Shenol. Nothing is there to worry about." she whispered.

Chipper hoping she was unnoticed realized that their might have been some who noticed her as she dashed for cover nuzzled behind the leaf so as not to be seen. Then desperatly listed to see what important word of wisdom or inspiration King Draman might have for the the solution to getting back the children.
Chipper's had great interest in the children for their dreams are what kept her magic alive if they were gone she would surely die....

Rita drifted off a little. When are we going to start this? she thought to her self. She was getting rather board. She yawned, then looked over at the other people hat were called here. She began to fall asleep, then woke her self up. you cant fall asleep! she told her self.

"Any others?" King Draman asked. No one replied. "Well, if you decide to come, just contact someone in that is already going. "Here is the plan. First you will go through the Sandy Water Deserts. That is where the last reported kidnappings were. If you can't find anything there, then you will head towards the Dragonlands."

Chippers was watching carefully to see if anyone would be brave enough to take the lead. Waiting patiently for the perfect time to take flight and join in for a valiant victory for the children. Wondering how on earth would they be able to find the children--they had such a headstart and are young and energetic they could be pushed hard and go a great distance in a short amount of time.

Meiou quickly whirled around as he felt that small creature go by he could swear he felt somethings presence. He knew of lots of things that noone else in here did but then again he was created by races most hadnt heard of let alone wouldnt likely ever hear of. He sighed softly as he turned and faced looking out a window, he so longed to find somone who was like him so that he might experiance this emotion that hes heard about called love.

Kisa sighed. Now that all the imprtant work was done, it would get boring again. She glanced towards Amdir, but the other girl had seemed to disappear. It was strange, really, how they met--Kisa had just been ordered to go to a certain place at a certain time to greet the one called Amdir Mallorn by the Denatou Seer. That was a day before her sister had been kidnapped, and so Kisa had little hope of finding her sister but to obey the seer.

She did not worry for her sister--Ember could protect herself. What she worried about was that Ember's magic would go out of control, and make fires happen. Kisa smiled wryly--the smoke would at least tell them where the children were. Unless they were underground, of course.

A memory, dim from misuse, flashed through Kisa's head. It was a blur, and Kisa could not make sense of it at all. Yet she felt it was important, and it slipped away every time she tried to grasp it again. She sighed, giving up, and her thoughts once more went to her sister.

Amdir leaned against the wall, sighing. She had been in meetings longer than this at home. But at least there she knew people. But all she had ever believed, ever known, had been a lie. All except for one thing, but she had always known for sure that was the truth. Nothing happened when people had said her mother had died soon after she was born. But when they said--

No. The thought pained her to much, and she shut it off quickly. She did not want to remember.

Shenol chirped quietly, trying to comfort her. Amdir scratched his back, and flakes of skin fell off. She would have to oil him soon. At least he had never lied to her. Amdir smiled slightly as soothing colors entered her mind. "Thank you, Shenol."

Elily nodded, all this while silent. She would go. It was the only way she would meet up with her sister and brother again. She had to go. For her mother's sake.

[Short post but I'm brain dead. Sorry!]

Draman saw he was losing most people's attention, something that couldn't be helped... "Meeting ajourned." he said, and then stood. He went to the door.

Kisa stood, resisting the urge to stretch. She watched as some of the people left, then, when she felt it was polite to go, she, too left the room. The growing crowd kept her moving, though she wanted to stay and look out for Amdir. But as she exited the stuffy castle, she breathed in deeply. It was around noon. She stretched as much as she could without being noticed, and walked over to her horses. It was a large herd, with many species and sizes of horses, of many different colors. She glanced around to see they were fed and watered and all there (The stable boy had looked lazy, and she didn't trust him), then turned around at the sound of a voice calling her name. It was a male Initian Elf, the Elves of the Mountains this side of the Sandy Water Desert, and he looked as if he had something important to say to Kisa.

It seemed to be somewhere around noon. The heat of the sun was smaltering, and the hot humidity was making almost everyone exhausted, including Chipper. 'I'm sure this meeting had taken much longer than anticipated. Yet the others had come from all over, and I'm sure there are more, some might even be on their way, even as we were gathered together.' Chipper thought. She hust hoped that when they were ready to start their journey, they would have the strength and power they needed, for the longer the children were gone, the less power she would have.

Ryoko yawned softly and cracked a few bones. She was sore and stiff from the meeting. She had been standing for what seemed like hours. The king left the room first and the crowd flooded out of the castle. Ryoko stayed until the room was empty before walking out. She hated crowds. She yawned loudly as she exited the castle. It had been a long day. Stretching as she walked she sighed. It was such a beautiful day. Ryoko stopped and stood there a moment, soaking in the sun's warm rays.

"Paradise...Who needs heaven?" she said, smiling. It was good to be outside again. It had been getting kind of stuffy in there. Now it was time to hunt down some youngsters. *I wonder if I'll discover any long lost siblings.* she thought. She didn't know if she had siblings. She hardly knew her parents. Shaking off the thought, she looked towards the horses.

*Beautiful creatures as they are, I have no need of them.* she reminded herself. She chuckled. Humans needed things to be done for them constantly. They were like children, even the adults. *Can't do anything for themselves. That's why they enslave animals.* growled her mind's voice. How she loathed the race.

Discarding her anger she found a small tree nearby. Thinking she should rest a bit before the journey she sat down beneath it. She crossed her legs and closed her eyes. She tuned into the natural world that surrounded her. She concentrated on the sounds. As she sat, listening, she felt the earth beneath her. She could feel it's life. Her heart's rhythm beat to the vibrations in the earth, and her breathing was smooth and constant.

Soon the sounds of nature took the form of words. They whispered to her in many voices, each saying something different. She focused her hearing on one in particular. It was sweet, soft, gentle and kind. The voice contained the qualities of a mother. Though gentle, sweet, and kind, it was also stern. Ryoko smiled. *Mother...* she thought. The voice of her mother's spirit soothed and relaxed her. Now she was ready.

Opening her eyes Ryoko wouldn't stop smiling. She was always like that after seeking comfort or advice from her mother's spirit. It was the only relationship she had with family. Her mother was her only known relative, and she was dead. Stretching, she stood up. It was time to go, but who to travel with?

Elily snapped out of her reverie, as the King announced the meeting to be dismissed. Everyone was leaving. She supposed she had no other choice but to leave as well. She got up, holding her staff, feeling a bit lost and forlorn.

Chipper flitted about, looking for any sign of the children. Even now, she could feel her power ebbing slowly away, to who knows where. She hoped that, even so small, she could do something to help find the children. As she neared two figures talking, she turned around, knowing she could not be seen. She soon neared the castle forest, and a bug flew by, almost knocking her out of flight. She quickly regained her composure, and continued her search.

After hearing the meeting dismissed he left and went outside towards the forest where he had made camp before coming to the Palace. He stretched abit as saw Ryoko head for the tree not quite understanding why somone like herself would even be here. He knew that most like her kind tended to not care about any others but themselves.
