Whenever I've got spare NP (like 3 or 4 NP on hand 
), I donate it to the Wishing Well. Well, it is like donating - you pretty much chuck it all away and sometimes the Wishing Well donates to the Money Tree. I figured it was more fun for me to donate to the Wishing Well while constantly asking for the next item I want for my Zafara Gallery.

When I was a newbie I donated, and asked for the best thing that was on the list of prizes, so I may have a chnce of winning.

also quite lol that almost everyone is wishing a money tree that is not worth more than 1000 NP!
