I am Chinese but I am not offended by these jokes. But then, I did not see the ones edited out. Some of them are quite ingenius, actually, like the "tired" joke (tyred) and exhausted joke (exhaust pipe, get it?).

I disagree with the last sentence, though. The jokes have nothing to do with the translation of Mandarin to English. They are really just wordplays on the English language.

I'm chinese myself. I dont get some of these though.

I dont think of them as too racist. I think this is on the line between Funny for a laugh and BAD BAD BAD!

Well, many jokes make fun of a certain group of people, like blondes, lawyers, politicians and such. So long they are not too overboard (I don't think this one is), I think it is ok. We need to lighten up learn some self-deprecating humour.

Welcome to the Politically Correct world. When you can't even tell jokes that have been told for tens of years without being called Racist.

Political Correctness, All care - No responsibility

Seriously though, the jokes I have all heard and they're not poking fun at Chinese people at all. Anybody ever hear of Confusious ??

These would be funny if the caveman type launge and chinese was deleted. I find them semi-racist. It sucks all the humor out of it.

Confusious has always been said to sound like that. I don't think it's racist.

Some people (not anyone here, just people in general) need to lighten up and laugh at themselves instead of being mopey and pitiful.
