Ok I have made a set.... its not good at all but please bear in mind this is the first set I have EVER made!

Xjox, that interview is an awesome idea. Wish I'd have thought of it -_- I'm still brainstorming. I have a half day of school tomorrow though so I should be able to come up with something after school.

I intend to submit mine on the due date. Since I have no set-making skills, it will most likely be something along the lines of a simple banner and description. But just so everyone knows, I intend on finishing it (school work has been swamping me this week).

Well, here it is. I apologize if it looks a little . . . unfinished . . . but the truth is that I could continue adding to until my brain exploded. I think for now, though, it is okay, and if my entry is chosen I'd be more than happy to hand off the account to the leaders of PPTTG or even update it myself.

There are people who do not go on ppt who I have talked to about graphics, (names will be told but they are not from neo or ppt. Some could be online stuff a graphics site anything.)

So dpcough how do you feel about making graphics, " I watch other people make them."

So John how do you feel about making graphics, "I love doing them. I am not the best but I do it for the sport *laughs*."

Morris graphics I know they are in movies but what do you think, " I will watch them in the movies and click on the buttons but never make them!"

Okay. This is to go in conjunction with the images I already made, which are on page 11. It's meant to be put in the PPTTG topic, posted on PPT's website, and generally used for advertising and informational purposes.

PPT Top Graphician
As I'm sure some of you may know (though perhaps some of you don't,) there is a board on the PPT Forums called No Nutritional Value. It is a well-loved board by many, a place to (sometimes) not be on-topic, a place for set contests and giveaways and competitions to go on. One of these competitions is PPT Top Graphician - its title is fairly self explanatory.

Top Graphician involves tasks in which competitors test their skill in various forms, including but not limited to making sets, blogs, and LJ Icons. There are restrictions as well - a recent competition included, for example, a challenge in which there was to be no green involved in the set.

The competitors receive in-depth critiques from judges, which definitely does have Some Nutritional Value - it's not often that you can get critiques from people who know what they're talking about on a reasonably regular basis. It's quite valuable to the artist, and the tasks challenge them to think up new ways and change their style to suit the task.

Even though Top Graphician is most definitely a competition, it still remains lighthearted. In one of the requirements for one round, it was made clear that the required set would have "No chicken images." Contestants, naturally, promptly complained. An atmosphere of general good nature is evident through this competition, with participants joking with each other and complimenting one another on graphics.

And so, without further ado - I give you, Top Graphician! (This "Top Graphician!" text is intended to have a link to the current PPTTG topic.)

u have the same thing i did plus it was after i did it! well, no hard feelings, good idea i had good idea you had. no one i think is going to get fired anyway because of the people leaving or being withdrawn.

I think it must have been a popular idea because I was thinking about doing the exact same thing! It was the first thing that struck me when the competition was announced. But I decided to go more with my written piece instead.

I'm not so sure about that...I don't think we're all going to get out of someone being fired just because people left. But, that's Ammer's decision - is there still going to be a boardroom?
