Its kinda weird, but... I've noticed that... Food seems to taste better when someone else has made it.
Eg: my dad can cut an apple for me, and it will taste delicious!
I'll cut an apple for myself, but... it won't taste quite as good >.<

My mom can make noodles and cheese... and it will be AWESOME
Or I can make noodles and cheese, but it won't be quite as good.

Now normally, if it's not dinner(sometimes its even dinner), I make my own meals, but if I DO by chance get a meal made for me, like sometimes my sis will cook for both of us XD (I love my sis, hehe,) it will taste so much better o.O;;

I don't really get why >.< haha.

I always find that someone elses food tastes better.
Especially chip shop chips if I eat someone elses they are really nice so I'll go and get myself a bag they just aren't as nice

Oooh, I know. I can't seem to make anything right, and I think that when I do make something my family is telling me its good but really desperately wanting to go barf or something.

My mom doesn't cook that often, and some things both she and I know she's bad at... but others, I wouldn't eat anybody elses. Okay, I would... but it wouldn't taste as good. Like her Lasagna for example. :P

Really? I find that when I make something myself, it tastes better than when someone else makes it. Except when I bake cookies of course. :P I always forget the time and they'll end up tasting like charcoal.

Not that I know what charcoal tastes like... *shifty eyes*

I usually find that things taste better when I make them myself. Probably because I would never admit there's anything wrong with my cooking. =P

In some cases it is the opposite for me.

My father spreads bread for me ---> Eww the peanut butter and butter are spread unevenly and in insufficient amounts.

I spread it myself ---> Nice, even and creamy piece of toast. :P

Im very particular over my food and no one can make it the way I want it! Im far too fussy about quantities and such... and everything has to be cooked for the perfect amount of time...

It's exactly the same with me. When my dad makes a big cooked breakfast for himself I used to have some when I was little but when he made it for me it wasn't as good.
When I cook stuff I'm always paranoid that it's not cooked properly and I'll get food poisoning or something so maybe that's why I don't enjoy my own cooking as much.

Hmm. Yea, other people's food does tend to taste even better than my own cooking. Especially when it's taken when they don't want you to. =P
