This one is actually R99 ... but the trading post has people asking 8 million for it. I'm guessing this is a target for the inflators (plus, the person who is always offering me the inflated stuff has struck trying to pawn it off, as well)

There are bunches and bunches of them on the shop wizard at 100,000 ... so I am guessing they have bought out all the low priced ones already.

Artifical inflation is bad. Don't accept this item for your trades ... it will most likely plummet in price soon.

What is with the whole 8 million thing? How unoriginal! I mean, every item that people inflate, they ask 8 million. Hint: anything posted as going for 8 million is inflated!

I had this item in my trades sitting for ages and no one offered. Now suddenly I got offers worth million, highest was 3 Royal Paint Brushes. Turned them down and sent neomails to warn them. At least they were saved

I am quite impressed as well. Way to do the right thing. There are people selling them for 75,000 on the shop wizard now, as well. I'm sure one of the people is probably one of the original inflators, anyway.

It seems I have been duped by a inflation scam ... I hadn't realized how inflated the National Philharmonic Speakers were until today.

I accepted 3 of them for one of my lots worth about 75k. The going rate on the wizard was about 30k (although a couple of the shop wizard screens had them at 100k), but I figured I could still sell them for around 28k quickly for some profit.

But they never sold out of my shop ... and I go to the shop wizard to find out that the prices plummetted on them. In fact, one person seems to be either a) get rid of a bunch of them that they bought or b) inflated them all ... made their trades already ... and is now trying to dump the rest of the ones they still had left out on the market.

Oh well ... nothing too bad ... but my gut told me there was something wrong with the trade ... I should have listened to it. When you are offered 3 of the same thing, it is usually just an inflated item.

Anyway ... I didn't think this was worthy of a new topic ... since the price has clearly fallen on the TP and the SW already ... that no one else would probably fall for it.

Editted to add: By splitting up the shop wizard such that there are now more "refreshes" that you need to do to get a real sampling of the "real" price ... haven't they just made it easier to pull off scams like this?

Also, Doesn't it make sense that you should be able to do a *single* action to find out what the low prices are on the shop wizard screen for the item you want to sell? It annoys me immensely to have to refresh the shop wizard 20 times before I see what the low prices on my screen are. Do they do this just to increase the number of page views they have?

Do you think Cybunny Care is worth buying? I saw a couple buyable on the wiz are they really inflated? Anyone know their true worth?

they aren't worth 8 million ... that's for sure.

There are more than just "a couple" on the SW. I saw 6 of them in the same shop for 75,000

I have no idea of the "true worth"
