The world's gonna end on December 21st, 2012. Because the Mayans said so.

But I'm not worried, because by then I'll already have been picked up by my alien buddies and taken to the next galaxy over where I'll have my own planet.

Now lookie here. Worrying about how the world is gonna end isn't going to help anyone. If it ends, it'll be because the sun reaches the end of it's lifetime and goes KABOOM! It's only halfway through. And by that time, we might be able to move to some other galaxy or something. I dunno. But whatever happens, we'll be dead anyway.

And just because the pope is very ill, doesn't mean everyone shall die. He's not an alien - he's a human, and everything has to die sometime. He's a very old man, and if he does die soon then I just hope it's not painful for him or anything.

Oh dear, I'll have to remember to cancel my newspaper subscription before that then, or it will be money wasted.

I remember watching an old video on Nostradamus that described how the end times would be. You know, earthquakes, volcanoes, Great Britain getting swallowed in a massive flood, that whole mess. The video claimed that we'd all be doomed by........brace yourselves.........1986! We all gave a half-hearted laugh at that one. Half-hearted because the video was still very disturbing.

I have to say the "Hister" thing was convincing, but I'm still skeptical. If you care to know how ol' Nostradamus thinks the world's gonna end, I think I remember some of it (although I learned about it a few years ago, so my memory's a bit fuzzy)...Anyway, the first two antichrists (there's three in all) were Napoleon and Hitler, and the final OMG 00BER!!!11 antichrist is a guy named Mabus, nationality unknown. So far I haven't heard of any world leaders that have a name similar to "Mabus," so I think we're safe so far.

There will be a huge, horrible World War III where 1/3 of the earth's population will die. It will involve the Northern Pole Alliance (AKA "good guys," a rough offshoot of the Allied Powers), the United States, Canada (YES, CANADA, YOU HAVE TO FIGHT NOW!!), Great Britain, and Russia vs. China and the Middle East. The NPA does eventually win, but at a huge cost. Australia, who doesn't really participate, gets pummeled by China but manages to survive, however they become isolated and distrustful of other nations, since their so-called allies didn't come to their aid. After the war, there are a few more peaceful years before all hell breaks loose. Great Britain drowns in the aforementioned massive flood. North America has to deal with those pesky faultlines in the form of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. I forget what happens to Russia. Anyway, the world ends, yada yada yada.

Doesn't that sound like fun??! I like John Titor's prediction a lot better.

Oooh, I almost forgot, there's another guy Nostra mentioned. He's supposed to be a French guy who's supposed to go head-on against the evil Mabus, named "Chiren." Yes, I know what you're thinking. "That's Chirac, right?" Well, Nostra described the l33t hero Chiren as being muscular and ruggedly handsome.



Something tells me Chirac doesn't quite fit the bill.

Actually under that suit lies powerful muscles. As for the good looks - erm, well, his wrinkles make him look ruggedly good-looking, right?

Before I waste precious time scouring the internet for topless pictures of Jacques Chirac, I'll just say...mmm, don't think so. lol

If that guy's "ruggedly handsome," then Bush is a bona-fide hottie!

Exactly what I was going to ask. As long as you remember that we burnt down your white house and sent you crawling back to your mamas in 1812, we should be okay.

NO they didnt.
they said, that the fith age (the last age..) of mankind will end december 21st 2012 (the same day that a full galactic orbit ends, they take a few million, million years by the way)
it will end via some catastrophe involving "earth" (the last three ended with fire, water and air, with the first involving the creations revolution, lots of pots, pans and knives beating people up)
anytay, as per usual Mayan mythos, the world then comes full circle and we begin again at the first age (where the machines rise up and we have some matrix thing going on presumably)
no ending (well, except for the poor smuchs who get it in the catastrophe, but theres no helping some people)
ofcourse im sure everyone knows which states are thought to be dissapearing upon the event of a big enough earthqauke dont we.

All I'm gonna say is that in the Bible it says that in the End Times, technology will advance very quickly and the whole world will turn against Israel.

I must agree with Igg. Besides, people have been saying the worlds gonna end soon for thousands of years. I think all us PinkPTers will be dead by the time the world ends.

As for John Titor, there was a big debate about him here when I first joined PinkPT, over a year ago. I think it was Chrome and myself who decided to hop the border if all hell broke lose in the U.S as he predicted.
