Actually, I'm changing my option due to the word "taunt". I'm constantly being teased, tanuted and humiliated by friends and it really gets me down. I'm being singled out. I say it's because I let them, my friend says it's because they're bordering on bullying.

I'd say you need to re-evaluate your definition of friends.

Well there's one who's not my friend but finds it so amusing to pick up on all my weaknesses and make them into a joke. He's like the alpha male of the group (plus my ex-boyfriend) so everyone else just copies him and joins in. I do have some amazing friends who'll stand up to him and put him in his place when my sarky comments aren't doing the trick.

Back-stabbing. If you are going to humiliate me, do it to my face.

I chose the second option. No matter how nice, sincere, polite, caring, or generous you think you are, there will always be people talking about you when you're not present.

Get over it.

It's better that they're talking about you in private than having an audience hear your secrets and worst traits, even if they're not exactly true. In fact, that just makes it worse.
