[AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! That was so hilariously funny...thanks by the way...I needed something to continue on with the post without getting a little too...unrealistic]

Inadra stared up into the teenage girl's raging brown eyes and wondered what he had done wrong exactly. He noticed something that he suspected to have once been a particularly delectable piece of chocolate lying in the dust near her feet. He was so amused because she was literally steaming that he began laughing. Then, he calmly stood up and dusted his clothes off.

Extending a hand, he said, "I'm so sorry about you losing your chocolate and all but I'm sort of in a rush."

[I think I'll make up just a short sentence for your character? If you don't like it, I'll edit it out]

The girl stared at this strange human being in front of her and shrieked, "WHAT BUSINESS DO YOU HAVE CAUSING EARSPLITTING SOUNDS ECHO THROUGHOUT THE MARKETPLACE?!"

Inadra blinked and said, "Well, I didn't exactly make that sound. Something made me stop and I'm not exactly sure what."

The girl continued staring and then with a sigh, clasped Inadra by the hand, and said, "Well, you're still buying me some new chocolate!"

Inadra laughed at her impertinence. However, when she dragged him, his body moved but his feet remained glued to the ground.

She glared at him as he replied, "I seriously do not know why I'm stuck here. I suppose whoever made that earsplitting shriek must have meant for me to stop going anywhere entirely. Oh well, I'm stuck here. Have a nice day though."

He chuckled again because this particular girl had so much spunk it was in such a vague way, so outrageously funny.

[Since my character is stuck in the middle of the marketplace, it's probably plausible that this is attracting plenty of attention. This could be how the characters meet me?]

{ ooc || I'm fine with that. }

How was, in any way, her lost chocolate in anyway related to anything of laughter? That hadn't been cheap chocolate either. Not like a mere bar of chocolate with some mixture of who knew what to make it seem better than it really was. What she had just lost was real chocolate, which didn't come altogether too cheaply. Did she believe this nonesense about him not making the sound and him being stuck to the ground? No. Plain and simple. No. He was pulling of some trick to try and get off from buying her chocolate, which he must have recognized to be something more than just the cheap kind.

"Yah, sure. Something magical is holding you down," and keeping you from buying me my lost chocolate. Of course she believed that. Only an idiot would believe a story like that. "The least you could do is pay up. And for being so incredibly funny, I suppose I should raise the price to, say, 10 dollars." This was, by far, the worst of the times when she had just moved into a new place. What kind of people lived here? Odd people, if he was to be an example. She had seen in no other places a person dressed like him, except maybe in stories. "Or if something really is keeping you stuck where you are. Get them to show up and give me my money." Or perhaps even better chocolate, if whoever-it-was happened to have that. Though that story was even less likely.

He stared at this hilariously persistent girl with a look of disbelief. Finally, after opening and closing his mouth as he couldn't think of anything sufficiently nice and sympathetic to say, he decided to do something that wasn't at all that nice and sympathetic though what he had to say was sort of nice and sympathetic.

He picked up the staff that he had dropped when he had stopped so abruptly and whacked her on the head with it. Using a variation of a spell he had learned, made her glued to the ground until of course she said the correct passcodes.

Then, he said quite pleasantly, "Well, since you don't believe people can actually get glued in one place, let's see you try leaving. Oh yes, and if by some miraculous chance you get free without my help, I'll buy you 2 pounds of your favorite chocolate."

[Okay...two stuck people will attract lots of attention....]

To say the least, Petra was quite shocked when the man found enough audacity to bring that staff over her head and hit her with it. Had he no manners at all? Apparently not. Petra glared at him with pure hatred, a glare even stronger than the one she used to stare at the ceiling when she first woke up every morning. She didn't try to get away, for now, for how was it possible to completely glue a person? She could, she suppose, have stepped into some puddle of glue that he had just spilled right before she had come over to him, but that was about as far as she was willing to believe. And because she had shoes on, he probably had glued the shoes and not her actual person. But she wasn't up to experimenting with that right now.

And seeing she was "stuck" to the ground, she might as well take advantage of it. She leaned over and socked him in the stomach. If he truly was as he seemed to be, stuck to the ground, it ought to hurt more than he if were able to move. And it wasn't as if she were afraid of getting caught by whatever authority for fighting in the streets. It wasn't as if she'd be here for more than a year anyways, probably. And the least she could do now was make him pay for her chocolate even if it wasn't in money. "Like that's any more believable," she mumbled in disbelief. Who would make someone stuck to the ground so that they had the possibility of getting away and having to make you pay for two pounds of chocolate rather than just for one bar?

{ ooc || might as well draw more attention ^^ }

Inadra was frustrated at this strange girl. She just didn't believe in magic. She even had the nerve to sock him, which had hurt beyond doubt. He decided that maybe it was time to take drastic action and possibly free himself from this painful predicament. He remembered his instructor telling something about some kind of fragmentation spell that briefly upset even the strongest spell structure. He would probably have to use his cape in this since he didn't have any other surface to lay the different spells on. Closing his eyes and shutting out that remarkably unbelieving and incredibly hilarious funny girl, he brought forth the signs and settled them on the magical plane that was his cape. With an incredulous bang, the spell that had held him in place broke into pieces that almost immediately came back together. He then teleported a hundred feet into the air again and the spell settled again without him in it this time.

Then, with another teleportation spell, he fell on the ground where the spell that had stopped him still pulsed. The girl was still there and probably making up some reason of this sudden disapearance and reapearance. With another tap of his staff, he freed her.

With a smile, he asked, "So what chocolate did you want again?"

{ ooc || fweeee... taking over the board fun! }

Petra was shocked by this man's strangeness rather than whatever odd things he was doing. What was he trying to prove anyways? He was proving one thing over and over. He was strange beyond all reasons. First he wouldn't come buy her chocolate, then refused to pay up front and finally settled, apparently, on buying her chocolate, the first option she had given him. Why this man even walked free on the streets and not stay inside a mental hospital was beyond her reasoning. "I never said to begin with," she replied with a voice not at all devoid of haughtiness.

And as she said this, she puzzled over just what he was trying to get at and what he had just done. "But for that matter, Lindor Truffles, dark chocolate." And if you whatever "magically" make it appear from nowhere, I'll take that and also drag you to the store and make you buy it there too where I know nothing is wrong with it. She looked at him skeptically and looked at him as if he had just grown an odd number of limbs. The smile was not far from unnerving, either.

{ ooc || lindor truffles are the best! ^_^ and that Inadra is pure crazy ^_^}

(Again, lionheartwitty's post was pre-approved. :))

"Wow," Paullen muttered to Pheore. "That was a bit too close, don't you think?" He watched as Pheore gave a nod, then sighed. "So... what should we draw? I know that you have some trouble with Negative Spaces... and I have trouble with..." he paused as he thought things over. "Dimension. Should we work on those?"

Once more Pheore nodded. She sighed, her gaze wandering off to the window. "That's a good target..." she said softly, and immediately began to work on drawing the negative spaces on it.

The window was half opened, and at that time, a swift and strong gust of wind entered and past around the room. Paullen paused, thinking he had heard something. Frowning, he blinked in surprise, especially as another wind passed through and again he heard the voice. He grabbed a colored pencil from the box on his desk and began writing what he thought he had heard.

The Children gone,
and so is the Song,
that brings the world the peace.
The Three have something deep in mind,
All hope for it not to succeed.
For peace to reign once more,
The Children must be gathered,
And the sound unheard for all its time,
Must let itself be heard!

(Meh... *Pokes the poem-like thing* Not fond of it... but essential to the Role Play. It'll have to do for now.)

[Of course he's crazy...he thought it'd be fun to annoy the strongest mage of his time]

He speculated on how he planned to pay for this chocolate but let this girl drag him to the chocolate shop.

The shopowner raised her eyebrows when he said that he didn't have money to pay for the chocolate and then glanced at his staff.

She then said, "A mage, eh? Well, I've been meaning to get an illusion spell to invite guests into my shop. I could give you the chocolate should you complete the spell for me."

Inadra considered facing the hilarious wrath of the girl shorter than him but decided to save it for later when he was much more bored. He agreed and asked for a brief outline of what the shopowner wanted exactly.

Hours later, it was perfected into a self-renewing spell. Sighing, he took the tiny box of Lindor Truffles and gave it to the girl. Then, he stalked off in search of the museum again. He knew that if he tried saving this Denzei again, he might be eliminated. After he had taken a few paces from the shop, he paused thinking he had heard something on the wind but cast it off as a hallucination after hearing nothing.

((Sorry I haven't been around for a while, my whole family has some highly contagious virus and I have it very minorly...))

Tauwren stood up and walked calmly over to sit next to Anaïs, inside her nerves were jumping in excitement. She sat down calmly, grabbing her piece of paper and small neat pencilcase from across the desk. She turned to look at Anaïs, smiling widely, "So what are you both going to draw first?" Her eyes brightening suddenly, Tauwren carefully began sketching an eagle in flight, and a lion standing on a cliff edge beneath it.

Well, she had her chocolate. And for the same amount of money for one, she had one and a bit more. So it was a good enough deal, she supposed. All the same. That man had -- erg! That had been chocolate! And it had been wasted! How could he dare waste such good chocolate? Petra started on her way home. One day like that was more than enough for her. Or at least, one day like that.

But what happened when she returned home? She was promptly marched to the car. To the car! Why?

"You'll go to school today," her mother said.

Petra sighed, "But Mom, why today?"

"You've missed enough transferring in the middle of the school year."

"But Mom, I've done it before! You know I can do it..." But her argument accomplished nothing. She was shipped off to school and left at the office with a new schedule, like all the other times, except with half a day less of free time than usual. Oh well. Petra sighed and took the map, hoping she could find the classroom. Art class. Joy to the world. Why art class? Petra wasn't even a person that liked art, well, when it came to art using a pen or pencil or something else in your hand. But it seemed that no matter what she did, every high school that she might have been a student of required at least a year of art to get out. So she'd get done with it early on, though she probably wouldn't even finish one year of art in any one place. Maybe if she was "lucky" she would, but probability was against her.

Petra stuffed her chocolate into her pocket as she came upon the right room. Just open the stupid door, she told herself, but she did not want to do it. Her hand rested upon the door knob and with a great surge of will power, she opened the door. She looked at everyone in the room, knowing well that someone would come up to her, and that someone would probably be the teacher.

"Hi," a woman said as she came towards her, "You new to the school?"

"Yah. My name's Petra." She handed over the schedule. The women verified it and nodded.

"Welcome to the class. We've got free art today. So," she handed some paper over, "find yourself a seat and have fun!" Yah right, have fun... Petra rolled her eyes as the teacher turned away. At least she wasn't asked to introduce herself like in elementary school.

{ ooc || fweeeee... it's like... a second intro ^^; }

Anaïs shifted her head looking first at Hadi and then Tauwren.

"I... I'm not sure what I'll draw.. I don't know where to begin." she said and sighed trying to gaze at some drawings others had made at the table nearby.

Hadi looked suspiciously at his sister. Anaïs looked like his staring only confused here, so he pointed at her paper.

"Anaïs, you have already made a sketch. I'm not sure, though..." he started saying before he got interrupted.

"Oh my! How did that get there? Or wait, maybe I did draw it." Anaïs replied with a surprised voice with some follow-up nervous laughter.

Before she had the chance to continue Hadi picked up one of his pens and drew Anaïs' paper closer to himself. He then made a quick sketchy movement of what seemed to be a mix between a horse and a deer.

"It was missing a horn." he said eying the paper.

Anaïs shifted position on her chair, and slid closer to the table and the drawing.

"It's a..." she started.

"... kirin." Hadi replied, completing her sentence.

Tauwren looked between Hadi and Anaïs confusedly, "What's a... kirin? I've never heard of it before. It is some sort of animal?" She gently moved the paper towards her slightly to get a better look. Then, she turned back to her own drawing and began drawing something in the space between the lion and the eagle. For a moment it was like she was in a trance, and then she blinked a few times and realised that she had also drawn something without realising it. Quirking an eyebrow at her and Anaïs's strange behavior she studied the drawing carefully then looked up, a frown crinkling her forehead, "It's a griffin."

Rouska paused, and lifted her nose up slightly in the air. After a second or two, she stated triumphantly, "They are all together. Well, almost all of them... the Old One has a bit of trouble getting near them."

Atka glanced over, nodding. "Good. How close are they?"

"Close. Very close." Rouska said after another second or two. "Come on, this way." She paused to glance back at the other two, then started walking towards the school.

***

Pheore looked up as the door opened. She blinked in surpised, emitting a small gasp. She didn't know the girl, but there was something about her... something, but she didn't know what.

Paullen glanced at his sister, and then at her drawing. "Pheore..." he whispered softly. "You're drawing... a Pheonix."

The last word he said as if in awe. He didn't know why he said it that way, he just did. He blinked, shaking his head slightly.

Inadra was wandering the city trying to locate the museum once again when something caught his eye. He looked around and finally located the source. It was a kite-shield made of a strange blue and gold material and there was a picture of a chimera carefully painted in the very center. He pondered where he had read about it before and realized that it had been from the scroll about legendaries. Intrigued, he walked over and questioned the shopkeeper about how much it was.

The shopkeeper smiled and said, "I've been trying to sell this thing for ages and you're the first person that's interested. People just keep saying it's cursed but I'm still alive after 15 years of owning the thing. It's probably worthless now. Tell you what. I'll give this thing to you for a silver coin."

Inadra wondered how in the world he was supposed to obtain a silver coin when he saw something glinting at his feet. How surprisingly odd! It was a silver coin. He picked it up and gave it to the shopkeeper who smiled and handed over the shield. The moment he touched it, a brilliant blue and gold light engulfed him. As the light cleared, he found himself standing on top of a table and children poised with some form of writing or drawing utensil staring at him.

He groaned, "Oh great..."

Rouska hit herself on her head. "No! Bad, bad, bad. Atka, what do we do?"

Atka looked over, his face full of confusion. He shook his head lightly before responding, "Rouska. I have no idea what you are talking about."

Rouska looked up, and hissed, "They are all together. And in their presence is at least one of the Children."

Atka blinked, surprised. "Well... what happened." He sighed, knowing the question was stupid and the Mage had no idea what had happened, or else she would know how to fix it. He turned to look at Suka.

"Find the Child that has been recovered, and retrieve it before they figure out how to Unlock it. Hurry! This is a matter of utmost importance, no... going off after someones jewelry or something. The Child!"

Suka nodded, and glancing over at Rouska, slipped away.

***

Pheore yelped, leaning backwards and knocking her chair over. She blinked, rubbing her head, and stared back up at the table, where a boy had just... appeared.

Paullen pushed his own chair backwards, and hurried over to Pheore's side. "Are you alright? What just happened?"

Pheore blinked, shaking her head lightly, and then moaned. "Ow. My head. I don't know what happened... what happened?" She slowly looked up towards the boy that had just appeared out of nowhere.
