Okay, I originally posted in the Computer Help thread, but I've gotten no replies further than just one.

I've got a ton of spyware and it's driving me insane. Ad-Aware and Spybot won't get it all. It was reccomended to me that I scan it with Hijakthis! and have someone tell me what to delete and what to keep...so here's the log.

You know, lots of these dont even look like spyware. They're MSN and AIM .exe files. Why is explorer.exe on there?

I truthfully have no idea; I'm a bit stupid with things like this. HijakThis! said that it would find spyware, plus other things that it just identifies as spyware but really isn't...or something like that. -sigh-

Yeah; removing that would be a very very silly thing to do. That's why s/he's asking why it's on there.

Hijack this gives you a log of ALL of your currently running processes, not just the spywear. Hijack This is really for like, super advanced and a way to remove some spyware processes that can't be removed otherwise. I reccomend you download Spybot and scan with it before trying to remove anything via Hijack This.

Out of curiosity, have you tried running Adaware in safe mode yet?

To run it in safe mode, hit the F8 key as your computer loads up. You should be given a choice between Normal mode, safe mode, etc.

Some of those things look suspicious (like the O4 cloisi5.exe, O4 cioter40.exe, etc., maybe installed as the result of grouper.exe), but you might want to wait for a more experienced opinion.

Ohh, thanks Meowth. I've scanned it with both Spybot and Adaware, but they don't remove it all. :/ Adaware gives me a popup saying that they can't remove a list of things, and do I want to try to remove next time I restart? But then if I say yes, it still doesn't work.

Universal Senja, thanks, I'll try that.

If you have System Restore enabled, neither programs can remove spyware if it's located in the _RESTORE directory.

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [AutoLoader7Fwv1abKXdaU] "C:\WINDOWS\System32\cloisi5.exe" /PC="CP.CDT3" /ShowLegalNote="nonbranded" /UninstallName="CtxPls"
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [7sFT3me] cloisi5.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [MBw3RgKEg] cioter40.exe

Check those, and reboot. See if that fixes it.

Oh, wow, Tailseh, I think that helped. I've only gotten one popup ever since I deleted those.
