I think I got it. It involves moving the variables around. A lot. For me anyway.

I figured out all the variables, then I got frustrated moving variables around and just plugged in some likely whole numbers and got it on the second try. Double checked my math and submitted it.

Not easy, and in the end (for me anyway) "shotgun math" beat out the precision of actually figuring it out.

I wish I had been on right when it came out. A little algebra and this one turned out pretty good.

Oh well .. I suppose next week will be a random number guess one. :(

I wouldnt get too stressed over finding the answer...whether they are right or not, people are posting the answers all over the neoboards.

They need to learn to keep their mouths SHUT. :x

Again?!? I hate it when people do that. By the time I get home I don't stand a chance of getting a prize from it. I figure that if I can't solve it, I don't deserve to get it right anyway. Like any other game... if I can't get a 225 in UB, I don't deserve the avatar. 'Twas a fairly trivial problem anyway, took no more than 2 minutes to solve. Although for someone who hasn't taken Algebra I yet it might be a tad difficult.
