OMG!!!!!!!!!
I went to see Green Day last night and it was one of the best gigs I've ever been to!!!
We queued for 6 and 1/2 hours so we got on the front row :D
New Found Glory were really good and Jordan came over to right where we were stood and I got his armpit in my face!!!
Green Day were AMAZING we were stood right where Billy Joe was singing and he laughed at me getting crushed.
We did have to get pulled out of the front though cos my best mate has asthma and she couldn't breathe in the crush.
We watched the rest of the gig dancing around nearer the back.
They played Good Riddance last and I cried my eyes out
I was definatly worth freezing all day and then getting squished to death!!!

I went to see them last night and I aggree. They ROCKED!!! But due to the secutiry people not telling us we weren't allowed bags in and then having to trudge off to the cloak room and then into the concert, we missed New Found Glory. But I agree. The concert was great! And I'm telling you, they do a great version of Lulu's "Shout!" and "We Are The Chapmions" was great. But before Greenday came on the played some normal music into the hall and one of the songs was Y.M.C.A. 10,000 Skaters, Moshers and Goths in a room and they play Y.M.C.A. But I was shocked as almost everyone did the hand movements. And my big sister almost cried when Billy Joe did Good Riddance. And they got 3 people from the audince who could play Guitar, Bass Guitar and Drums and got them to play for one of the songs (can't remember which one though). And the guy who was playing the guitar got to keep it. Lucky... Sorry, I forgot this was a family forum. And Spira, where is your school? I'm going to get myself transferred there.

The only song I like by them is Boulevard of Broken Dreams... sorry other fans, but they swear too much for my liking. I don't mind a couple of swear words added in my the songs I listen to, but...

I like Green Day. I didn't hear much of their stuff before their newest album, other than Time of Your Life, but I like their new CD. :) She's A Rebel is good.

Yes, I do! Someone's heard of it? :o

Don't be afraid to see the truth, even if no one wants you to. Be yourself and not a fool. Don't ever be afraid to speak your mind and listen to criticism. Dissent is keeps our country progressive and willingness to challenge yourself is what keeps yourself ever evolving.

We were supposed to hand our bags in but we just didn't hehe
They always get kids on stage it's like their trademark lol
The girl they got to play bass at our gig couldn't actually play and it took Tre ages to teach her.

I'm obsessed with Green Day. Again. It was going to their concert that did it. (They made me ill too, but I won't go into that. *shakes head*) I may get interesting/mildly obsessed with various bands, but Green Day are my one favourite band. Definitely. :D

Hate them, everyone in my school things there rockers and crap because they listen to Green Day, plus it adds to the sk8ter rock movement. I'm a metaller through and through, there not in Hit Parader's Heavy Metal Encyclopida (Vol. 1) so it doesn't have a chance with me plus I guess it's far away from any type of Techno music (I'm German it's like a requirement I like it).
