my pets were never in chronological or name order, so I think any ordering system is better than nothing. :)

It switched the order of my lab rat and my ice bori. That could have been bad.

I know! that just happened to me too! I lab the third one, and since they moved the names, hellara was in the third spot!!! :o (hellara is my darigan cybunny) Hopefully, it didnt change color or species....
I do loke the new arrangement, I always wanted to have my two darigan pets next to each other...XD

I noticed that mine chaged order as well. Strangely I went to my userlookup earlier & was told I didnt have any neopets. So I refreshed & they were there. Then later in the day I went to play a game & was told I needed to create a pet...I refreshed & was ok. Freaked me out. To say the least I changed my pw just in case.

My pets have changed order too I noticed when I went to the lab ray to zap I nearly zapped the wrong pet LOL

My pets are in alphabetical order, too. But, they were in alphabetical order in the first placce, LOL.

Mine were already in what I thought to be alphabetical order, I'd always assumed anyway... Turns out I'm illiterate, my pet "So" was always before "se," and I just realized why... "se" was found in the pound with an uncapitalized name, and as any computer dork knows, s and S are two totally different things in its language :P Anyhoo, today I woke up and freaked out on the lab when I noticed "se" was before "So." Was gonna check PPT for a thread but I almost missed my ride to school @_@
Note: pet names cut down to 2 letters to keep meh account's privacy :]
