I e-mailed Jennifer, and she replied telling me this:

Hello!

This account has been inactive for too long and cannot be returned. Please feel
free to open a new account. Thank you for the email.

I think it's from when they deleted all these inactive accounts. :P And then people signed up with old names.

Six months? That doesn't seem long enough. I thought only accounts that hadn't been logged into in over a year were even on an "endangered" list for being deleted.

They're just saying that, you can still log on if you remember your username and password. I logged back into my account over 4 years after I created it. It was made April 2000 and I logged in on August 2004 after over 4 years of inactivity.

I always thought it was 12 months after an account was frozen was the time when you could no longer even get it unfrozen no matter what it was frozen for. 6 months 0.o I'm so glad I got my scammed account unfrozen now then.

That doesn't sound right. My old account from about 4 years ago still exists, I can't acess it because I lost the password but it's still there

I've heard of that happening several times before...I think usually the account had been frozen longer than six months, though. :/

Huh ?! :o

My previous account was frozen. Like 2 and a half yrs back. i took a serious blow.

I started a new one. Every few months i check my pet and it is still there. I can still log in although it would give me the Chia Police Dude blowing the Crapppyyyy Whistle. Haha.

There is something wrong with this system. When my account got frozen, I tried to get it back. I used the forms they provided, and I got no message back for ages. Finally, I e-mailed a staff member, and it said thatmy account had been disabled too long. If I try to get it back the day it was frozen, whose fault ins that?

There are serious flaws in most of their systems.

If they won't give frozen accounts back after that long, they should give you a reply before that time period is up. I think you should have a year to get your account back, because that's how long it takes to get a reply from them!

I also think that after 2 years, accounts that haven't been logged into should be deleted. (I think their items should be donated to the money tree to put back in to play.)
