Okay, so I've decided to do something to my hair. Right now it's medium brown and past my shoulders. I can get it cut and/or get highlights, though total dyeing would be a lot harder to work out. I'd really like to get some sort of nice, layered cut, but I don't have time to spend half an hour blowdrying every morning. Actually, I don't have time to spend any time blowdrying in the morning.

So I'm asking you all for suggetions. It's gotta be low maitinence, and parentally approvable (though I'm willing to go to battle if necassary!). Any ideas?

I got my hair layered, and I do nothing to it at all. I wake up and brush it a little, then just go out.

Depends on your hair type tho, my hair is really wavy, and layers with waves looks awesome.

What type of hair do you have? Frizzy, wavy, curly...
I think a cut would depend on it..

And the funny thing is that I just got back from getting a haircut.. Last time I got one was over 2 and a half years ago

I have longer layers, and I don't do anything to it, just brush and go. It just depends on your hair and the length how much maintenence it requires.

I have fairly basic smooth, fine hair.

There's also the option of cutting it all off and donating it to Locks of Love, in which case I'd be left with very short, dyeable hair. Sadly, I don't think my hair (or my mom) would spike well. And hot pink hair clashes with a lot of clothes.

I think it looks really nice if you have short hair in the back, and then a long piece at the front that you take over to one side... if you don't understand I could find a picture, but that looks good on almost everyone.

Now we all know what happened to Yukio. Brain damage while giving himself a 'fro.

I cut off a couple feet 2 years ago, and I just got it a little layered. Enough to be noticable. I usually just put it in a bun or sometihing anyway. I would say kinda small layers angling up in the front. That worked for me.

Personally, I think you should get it cut in the style I have! It's cute!

Just past the shoulders
Layered (just slightly)
Bangs that are just past the lip
Tapered in the front

or you could shave it all off Think of how low maintainence that would be! If there is a battle about your new do, you can totally be stylin' when you headbutt!
