yes, that happened to my strawberry gallery, i had a heart attack when i went to my gallerys lookup and couldn't see my shop, it turned up though, after i logged in

also when i was shopping for a quest, it said "user_someone hasn't got a shop!" okay..

fingers crossed, everyones shops come back, my gallery was a small peanut, but i know some peoples gallery reflect alot of time, nps and a great deal of effort, *fingers pretzels, mouse cord crossed* in the mean time, i've stuck everything in my sdb, and taken a screenshot of it all for good measure :)

Well, this is just great! :? I WAS trying for gallery spotlight. It's going to be REAL hard to get now seeing as how I don't have a shop!!! It was there 10 minutes ago! It was such a nice shop too! Court Dancer Gallery even! I want my shop back!

My shop seems to have run away too. At least the items are still showing up on the shop wiz, that gives me hope that we'll get them back. How long before TNT notices?

Everyone's shops are gone right now. My main and my galleries are gone and if you do a shop wiz search for anything and click on the user name, it says that the person doesn't have a shop. TNT will have to restore it or they will be incurring the wrath of millions of irate users.

If my 550+ plushie gallery is gone for good, so am I. And, I am sure that will be the thought of many, many others if all is gone. So, we can only hope that Neopets isn't that stupid to allow something like that to happen.

My shop is gone now, too. :( You know, I sure wish they'd make some kind of note in the news if they were messing around with anything or if there is a problem. A little "We're moving things to a different database, so you're shops might disappear," or something like that would be greatly appreciated.

Rawr. I am so glad PPT is back, because I've built up a lot of frustration over
these past few weeks. I had no idea I'd come to rely on PPT so much for
venting.

Unfortunately I don't really have anything to add that hasn't already been
said about the situation in this thread already. I'm just glad to have
someplace to whinge about things like this without worrying about getting
frozen. Stupid shop reseting. Make TNT go squish now. Rawr.

Geez, Jasujo, are you crazy? A little consideration for their players????--without whom they would be just another has-been gathering dust like a Teddy Ruxpin doll--that's just too hard to squeeze in their oh-so-busy schedule of raking in the big bucks from Mickey D's and running to the bank with deposits.

God forbid, we ever got a little notice or a little warning. You know, I was checking archived news on my internet explorer and way, way back when, they actually did warn their users ahead of time of computer software/hardware changes taking place.

And by the way, my shops and galleries have returned--but the one on my main account had all items reset to zero. When the glitch first occurred, I was on that account when I reported the problem and I didn't report it on any of my gallery accounts. Hhmmm--TNT's idea of a cruel joke b/c I reported a problem to them?? I can only wonder.

As Vertigo said, "Make TNT go squish now. Rawr." *slaps computer screen with a mega-huge fly swatter* *again and again*

Yes, Vertigo, I have just a bit of pent-up frustration in me, too. Thank goodness for PPT!!!!!!

From the news:
SITE UPDATE - If you've noticed your shop has gone missing this past weekend, not to worry. We're in the process of a database move that's taking longer than expected. Your shop is sitting happily in the old database waiting quietly for its turn.
If your shop is one that seems to have disappeared, please don't create a new one. Your shop and all your items will return as soon as everything is done moving. Sorry for the wait!

Awesome. :) Now if only they had posted that on Saturday, we wouldn't have been freaked out all weekend about my poor Tim's shop. -.-

I remember when they used to warn us before had of software changes and such. Even though we had a lot less, it was happier times back then. ;)

Btw, my brother had a Teddy Ruxpin doll. I think it's still around somewhere, but it's missing an eye. It was one of those that talked and it freaked me out before it's little mishap, so I definately haven't been looking around for it. ;) lol My girls have several of the books, though.

I don't know about you, but all the glitches have made me lose my appetite anyhow, so I'm not stopping by Mickey D's anytime in the near future.

Well, our shops were returned fast enough, but it really would have been better to release the news announcement before they started fiddling with the servers. I know I personally freaked out for a bit before I realized the problem with the disappearing shops was affecting everyone. If they knew it would happen, why not say so beforehand?

Mine disappeared this afternoon, thankfully it was pretty much empty except for a few items so I wasn't too worried. Seeing things like these is perfectly normal for me, I guess I already got used to buggy Neo
