I have to choose The Lion King, simply because I was obsessed with that movie when I was five. It remains today the movie I have seen the most times in a theater: four.
Also, although The Wizard of Oz is indeed a classic, those monkeys are scary.

Lion King.... I didn't like Wizard of Oz at all when I saw it.

I like both.
However.
The lady who played Dorothy in TWoO frightens me. Seriously, frightens me.
Not to mention, The Lion King is just so much... more my style of movie. I actually prefer the Second Wizard of Oz movie to the first; because i'm a crackpot.

The Lion King is the best Disney film in my opinion, it's very well done, and I love it to pieces. 
As for The Wizard Of Oz, I have a strong disliking for that, but I'm not quite sure why. :/

IMO The Lion King.
If this was The Wizard of Oz vs Return to Oz match I would choose Return to Oz because I liked Return to Oz better than The Wizard of Oz.

The Lion King, being one of my favorite Disney movies. I have to want to watch The Wizard of Oz it can annoy me at times.
