I kinda thought it might be some numerical system like a=1 b=2 and you take the pets name and color and add them up or multiply them. Adding them is way too low, multiplying is way too high.

Got it. It's similar to a Lenny C we did a while ago. The numbers do exist elsewhere at Neopets.

Finding the answer to this one was easier than shooting fish in a barrel of water.

The sum of the digits in the answer is 19 if I'm not mistaken

The colors do matter, but the answer doesn't involve decoding anything. It does involve rearranging four numbers for each pet. And that's all I'm going to say.

how do you know which way to rearrange them?

I know my hint sounds very obscure, but it's the truth. :P I wouldn't have gotten it so fast had I not remembered something new they did that was mentioned on one of the links in the news. :P I forget which day, though.

Giving the exact date would be too big of a clue, anyway. It seems most people aren't having too much trouble with this. :) Has anyone blabbed it on the neoboards?
