Though with my luck, I won't have.

What I don't understand is why the Mystery Pic prize is usually large enough to be worthwhile and the Lenny C prize generally isn't unless it's one of the insanely hard ones. Presumably Mystery Pic is subject to the same problems with people spreading the answer as Lenny C is.

Maybe because the LC answer is usually more precise, while the MP relies on keywords, so even someone who knows the answer can phrase it incorrectly. Just a guess.

I think a lot of people will get it.

Plus Lenny C lasts an entire week, while MP lasts just a few days (in some cases, it's even released late Wednesday and judged late Thursday). Also, Lenny C is usually solved much quicker. The current MP, which came out at the same time as this LC, still hasn't been solved, and a lot of the people who would just lurk and steal the answer have probably given up or forgotten about it. They like the instant gratification of going on the neoboards and getting the answer to the puzzles immediately. And finally, I think fewer people participate in the MP in the first place because it doesn't give you an avatar like Lenny C does, and it requires more work (most of the time).

The reason MP answers arnt blabbed is that anyone smart enough to get the MP is smart enough NOT to post the answers on the boards. The people who post the answers on the boards are the kind of people who dont care about the money and just want the attention. I agree that they should make it a freezeable offence. The way things stand now, after 30 minutes I see no problem in giving out a hint or five or ten. I mean, whats the differnce between 55 np and 102 np? However, were they to go no answer posting, then they might as well say NO HINTS as well, and force everyone to solve it on their own. Of course, they couldnt regulate things like this board, but they could stop people from posting the answer on their guild board so that their guildmates can get the avatar.

The problem with the LC is that many of the people who are doing it just want the avatar. Once they've submitted their answer, they go blab it everywhere because they don't care about the NP at all. It makes me mad.
