I've seen the movie before but it's only the book that you're not allowed to have read. *muses* And yes, the opening scene is rather graphic, but if I recall the rest isn't too bad. Except at the end when he hauls Pilgrim down on the ground, I don't think I liked that.

Well... you can't go wrong with bunny rabbits slaughtering each other in a brutal war... plus the little stories about their God are kinda neat.
Yeah the Horse Whisperer book and movie are super different. The ending of the movie shocked me, it's totally not like the book. And it's like "hrm. Guess they took a lot out to not offend people".
Emeh. That could be a neat one to do.

(plus finding Watership down really is a pain in the arse.)

Something to remember about The Horse Whisperer is that there is now a book based on the movie, so you'll want to get the original book. Also the movie was not totally based on the book. Monty Roberts (the real horse whisperer) was consulted, although they totally messed everything he said up and made him look like a lying fool (this refers specifically to the dropping the horse on the ground...something a real horse whisperer would not do).

Another book that might be good is 2001 a Space Odessy

Well if the Horse Whisperer doesn't work out you could try either Pride and Prejudice or Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen. I highly reccomend both of them.

One flew over a cookoo nest

If it hasn't already been mentioned. I'm not sure if it was just a book, or a play, or both...but there was definetly a movie :P

Oooh, good book, good movie. Definitely over 200 pages. Oh, also Dune. I haven't seen the new Sci-Fi channel movie, but I saw the sequel and it was okay. I saw a bit of the old movie, and it was kind of... bad. Terrific book, though.

one flew over the cuckoo's nest is a great one. it would be a really interesting report, too, because the author refused to see the movie because he thought the casting was all wrong. could be a fascinating thing to explore.

I hate to disipoint you but Hitchhiker's guide (books one) is only 155 page's long, but if you were to include all 5 of the books in his trilogy then you would definaly be over the 200 mark.

The books are very funny, I've read it a few times.

I'd suguest Minority Report but it was made from a short story...Big Fish might be cute, it was a cute movie the book is most likely way better...

if your really want to find something you haven't read before this might be a good site for you to cheak out
