In a few minutes, I'll be heading down to a job interview, so wish me some good luck ok? Hopefully I'll finally be employed after searching for several months. Oh, and I forgot to say earlier that I got my drivers permit, mwahaha!

Good luck. Don't say 'I don't know', and if they yawn, just leave.

Good Luck!!!

No one hires down here at 14... You have to wait until you're 16, and so I'm broke for two more years...

Hope you get the job!

Back, and feeling horrible, but that's mainly from being bus-sick. The job is for the local scout store, where boy scouts go for merit badges and stuff when they earn them. I think the interview went rather well. Being a life scout, and hence familiar with the stuff probably helped, and they mentioned that my height might help with stocking. Another neat thing is if I get hired, I'm not going to have to cut my hair, just keep it in a ponytail (I had it in one during the interview, I'm not stupid :P).

I had a problem with one question though. They asked what I'd do if I found a $20 bill on the ground. I said if I could see who obviously dropped it, I'd return it. If not, it's mine unless someone complains about losing a $20 bill. After all, I can't just ask who's it is :P

When employers ask that kind of question, especially at a scout place (take it from a girl scout), a good answer would be something like, I'd donate it to the local ASPCA if I couldn't find the person it belonged to.

EDIT: I forgot to add, you don't HAVE to do what you said, but it sounds good during interviews... ;)

Thats what I was worried about with getting my first job, having to cut my hair. I can't pull it back cause it's in between lengths and too curly.

Way to go on the interview though. :D

Yeah I agree with the donating thing, that's probably what they were looking for. However, I don't think it will break you, I mean they may say "hey...he's honest about it."

I would take the $20 because its their fault that they lost it but if I see someone looking for the money they lost I would give it to them.

Maybe it's a girl thing to think of it... Because the guys up there don't seem to agree...

I don't think that was the point of this thread.

I hope you get the job though, I can't seem to find one that'll call me back.
