I don't know what you guys are talking about with "cartoony." They're freakin' cartoons! If you ask me, the old one didn't look realistic at all. It looked like it was on drugs! This one at least looks like it's at least alive!

This is exactly how I feel. I also don't like the claws. Felines have retractable claws, don't they? Then why does the new kougra have it's claws extended all the time?
When I signed on today and saw what they did to my poor Angara928, I wanted to cry. My first pet was a Yellow Kougra and my main pet now was created in honor of her. I really don't know what to do now. I really don't like the new kougra at all. My first instinct was to look through the other pets and see what I could change her into, but I don't think I have the heart to do that. Maybe I'll wait and see how the painted color revamps go.
I am *not* happy with the new look at all.

The head on the new kougras is not connected to the body in some poses (if not all). That is why I don't like it.

Wise words. neopets ARE cartoons...their not suppose to be that realistic. -.- If you want realistic...go to a zoo or something.
Maybe this is why i like the new kougra alot. It's cartoony and I like cartoons. It's not "OMG teh Chibi of teh D00mz0r!" it's not really that cute, just a cartoon.
Said many time and I'm just saying it again...cute and cartoon are pretty different.
Only revamp I shall always dislike will be Poogle...forever. Not cause of how it looks...it's what it reminds me of. *shutters*
Looks like a revamped Mutant Kougra and we know that guy has been around for awhile. Mutant Kougra would be sweet like that...minus the egyptian garbs.

I had actually seen art of a "revamped" Desert Kougra from the Adventures in Neopia game
