I've started to listen to rock quite recently, a year ago I would probably have said pop.

Rock primarily, but that kinda branches off into other genres (punk rock, metal etc.) I do like punk though. ^_^

There's a very good reason my nickname in high school was pop princess.

I like rock music, and bits and pieces of everything else too although I will always love pop music. ^_^

My favourite style of music would be classical (and I know half of you out there will be gaping and saying 'smurf taht's so boring', but frankly, I don't care), and my second favourite would be rock. I very rarely listen to pop, cannot stand Rap or Hip-Hop (except Eminem, but that's a different story), and...yeah.

Classical can be boring if the conductor isn't up to scratch, or the composer is a big imitator, but generally it rocks. Mussorgsky, Beethoven, Schubert... not so much into Mozart or Bach, though. (I only ever heard Bach on some pretty scratched-up vinyl, though.)

Oh yeah, and I'm also into soundtracks. The cool ones, like the best of John Williams, or anything by Howard Shore or Randy Edelman, the Braveheart soundtrack, heck, even a lot of the songs from Disney movies after they stopped putting the annoying conservative choir in the opening credits. I find myself singing the one decent tune from the Holes movie ( If Only, not the Fiction Plane version) on occasions... y'know, June 3 (full moon), June 4 (PoA premiere), June 6 (Class Reunion of Doom), June 22 (the day I finished OotP)... anyway, when soundtracks are done well, I worship them.
