ENFP "Journalist". These people love novelty and surprises. They are big on emotions and expression. Life is an exciting drama. They are good at sales, advertising, politics, and acting. 5% of the total population.

Sounds like me :)

INTP: "Architect". Greatest precision in thought and language. Can readily discern contradictions and inconsistencies. They are good at logic and math and make good philosophers and theoretical scientists, but not writers or salespeople. 1% of the total population.

EI: 11 out of 17, 64%
SN: 11 out of 17, 64%
TF: 6 out of 17, 35%
JP: 10 out of 17, 58%

I switched my major from physics to art history and now anthropology for a reason. I stink at math. Or I've at least have had horrible math teachers for the past few years. But after reading the description, some parts were frighteningly accurate. I also love how it said "architects" make horrible writers, but the career list included "writer".

ISTP: "Artisan". These people are action-oriented and fearless, and crave excitement. They are impulsive and dangerous to stop. They often like tools, instruments, and weapons, and often become technical experts. They are not interested in communications and are often incorrectly diagnosed as dyslexic or hyperactive. 5% of the total population.

::shrugs:: I seem to get a different result every time I take one of these. Not that I can remember what other ones I've gotten... =P

INFP: "Questor". These people are idealistic, self-sacrificing, and somewhat cool or reserved. They are very family and home oriented, but don't relax well. High capacity for caring. High sense of honor derived from internal values. 1% of the total population.

INFPs feel internal turmoil when they find themselves in situations in which there is conflict between their inner code of ethics and their relationships with others. They feel caught between pleasing others and maintaining their own integrity. Their natural tendency to identify with others, compounded with their self-sacrificial dispositions, tends to leave them confused as to who they really are. Their quiet personalities further feeds their feelings of depersonalization. The INFP's quest for self-identity then seems even more alluring — but increasingly impossible to attain.

Oh wow...ain't it the truth. :o

Seriously...this sort of thing just tears me apart.

I'm an INTP; I've known that for a long time. There are a lot more of us on this forum than there are in real life, probably because INTP's are drawn to computers.

By the way, if you're an INTP and you wanna talk to others like you, there's a forum for ya:

I am an INFP. It sounds like me, especially:

Their natural tendency to identify with others, compounded with their self-sacrificial dispositions, tends to leave them confused as to who they really are.

I am constantly confused about who I really am.

Well I'm the only ENTP here:

I was actually suprised at how much this actually matched me,

This characteristic, combined with their tendency to underestimate the time needed to complete a project, may cause the ENTP to become over-extended, and to work frequently beyond expected time limits.

That matches me perfectly.

ISTJ "Trustee" These are dependable pillars of strength. They often try to reform their mates and other people. They make good bank examiners, auditors, accountants, and phys. ed. teachers, and boy or girl scouts! 6% of the total population.

...Interesting?

Sun Mar 13, 2005 8:08 pm

Ack... I honestly gave the test a try, but gave up after I realized that for almost every question on the first page, both choices were equally correct, depending on the situation.

I think I'm a SMAI... Severely Muddled Ambiguous Individual. ;)
