Item Production
Overview:
This game will simply about who makes the best item, every round I will post a type of item and some requirements. You must create an original item with your graphic program. Of course, this wouldn't be just about the image, you must think of a witty description as well.
Rounds:
A round is generally 5 days, 3 days for the contestants to submit their items, 2 days for the judges to judge. Depending on how many people there are, the game will generally eliminate 25% (rounded up) of its contestants each round until there are only 5 people left. If someone is bankrupt after a round, he or she is automatically eliminated, so we would eliminate the people bankrupt THEN another 25% after.
The player(s) with the least amount of points at the end of the round will be eliminated.
The player with the most popular item that round will receive a special bonus. In the next round, they cannot receive a “Luck Factor” under zero. You cannot receive two special bonuses in a row, if still make the most popular item next round, the special bonus goes to the person who made the second most popular item. There will be no special bonuses given out after the 5th round.
Items:
Think of a name for your item, then make a 80x80 picture. If you don’t have a host, you can sign up for one here:

Try to think of a witty description, remember, it doesn’t have to be funny. I will explain the Item Values in the next section.
For your item to be counted, you must post on the thread using the following form:
[Item Name]
[Item Picture]
[Item Description]
[Item Value]
Please make sure your item name is
BOLDED or else it would not count.
Point System:
At the beginning of each game, every player will start off with 10,000 points. Here is where your Item Value section comes in place. The more valuable your item is, the more of a risk you are taking. Your item Value cannot be under 100 or over half of your points (rounded down) The judges will rate how “popular” your item is on a scale of negative 5 to positive 5. If your item is in the positives, you will gain, in points, your item’s value times your popularity rating. If your item is in negative popularity, you will lose, in points, your item’s value times your popularity rating.
Judging:
After the time is up for contestants to post their items, the judges will rate each of them on three things: Picture Quality, Creativity and Description. The judge’s ratings cannot be zero. Each item’s popularity will be the average of all the judge’s ratings plus a “luck factor” The luck factor can be randomly negative five to positive five. The luck factor can, however, be zero.
Requirements:
There will be requirements for each round, an example of one would be:
You may NOT:
Make something that is, or resembles a fruit.
Have a file size over 10kbs.
You MUST:
Use the color orange.
Rules:
1. You may NOT use an existing picture for your item, it must be completely drawn by hand or in the image program.
2. You do not have to follow the requirements, breaking one or more requirements will result in two popularity points taken away from your item. But it cannot go under negative 5.
3. The images must be 80x80.
4. The images must be a GIF, JPEG (JPG), BMP or a PNG.
5. You can only submit one item at a time, if you want to have a second item after the first one, make a post saying:
Item Deletion: [Item Name Here]
and put your new item below. The item deletion must be in bold or it will not count.
6. Late entries will not be accepted. It will result in immediate elimination.
Prizes:
There will be a prize for the winner, however, I’m rather poor. So far I’m thinking one Neopoint for every game point for the winner at the end of the game. (Unless the winner scores something like 803423 points,
) The prize system will be sorted out at the end of the game.
