I am choosing Rissa and Optimus.

ScottNak can confirm the fact that I literally have been debating who to choose for at least an hour and a half. (Because I've been ranting to the poor guy.) I looked at each one a million times, and kept switiching them back and forth on my desktop. And because of this headache three of you have successfully caused me, I feel like explaining and adding a bit more to ratings I've already given. =P

Rissa, the blur is what really killed this on the left. I'm not sure if you didn't know what to do with it, but here's what would have looked better. You could have made a black border, and then added a transparent red area within. (like how blogs are usually done) That would have tied it in better with the red of your image.

Optimus, yours was visually...uninteresting. The effects were nice, but because of all the guys standing, a lot of the area on the right was empty. The grey didn't help. Despite the faults of Apricus's and Koku's, this really sort of made me go 'blegh, I need something more bright and interesting to look at here.'

Koku, I give you a BIG warning, because you came extremely close to getting a vote from me. The only thing that saved you is the image of the girl you chose. When I placed in on my desktop, that image was enough to grab my attention and say, 'hey, that's really pretty, I guess I can ignore the brightness of the rest of the background.'


The final results of this round are that moogie, apricus, and optimus have been voted out.

Yep. I had a feeling I'd be going this round. Call it a robot's intuition, if you will.

Just want to thank the judges for the ratings. I learnt a few new things and had a good time. I want to especially thank Marissa, I'm not sure why, but I found the out-of-10 ratings to be really helpful as it gave me an idea of how much further I needed to get to have reached a satisfactory-excellent graphic. If ya know what i mean

Anyways, best of luck to all the remainding contestants. And I'll definitely be sticking around to see the endgame.

This is going to be a slightly...different round. And I warn you now that I'm not sure how well it'll turn out.

But anyway, this round you are to make a tag.

A tag is this.

Requirements

The dimensions of your tag must be between 300x300 and 475x475.

The tag must contain your name in some way, shape, or form, and your name must be 3-D.

The image can be a geometric shape or a CG. (A CG is this.It's outlined, colored and shaded, and an anime/manga image usually.)

-the image must be cut out from whatever background it's on.

If you are using an image, and aren't sure if it's a CG, ASK.
