Don't ask about the name, its a dare that Michael Jackson got.

Anyway, Jacko got a hamster. Michael Jackson wanted one since Michael Jackson was 5 years old. So its a black bear hamster, and its name is Edwin. ^_^

DiscordantEdit: I left your post the same, but I edited the title. Just to save others from confusion.

Congratz on your new hamster, Zega. I used to have hamsters. You should try to get one of those plastic balls that they can roll around on the floor in. And use those plastic tubes to build a huge maze for him to crawl through.

(and in case anyone's wondering about the Michael Jackson thing, it's a Duck Duck Goose dare on Zega to refer to herself as Michael Jackson. I may be ruining the little game, but I'm not very amused by this sort of thing at all.)

Wahey. Yum to hamsters. XD

*points to set* That's my hamster. Ent she cute?

Hamsters are fun.

I'm with Sapphire Faerie on the confusion of all this. O_O

Oh, and the plastic tubes, since it's a black bear it could get stuck.

Unless you buy some big tubes. :P

I had a hamster once...

my dog ate him. No joking. I was 6. It was a horrifying experience.
I'll never own a rodent again.

Poor Brian... and whats worse, is that my dog thought he'd done such a good thing... by doing it. He was a hunting dog though, it wasn't fair to have a hamster in the house. It drove him crazy.

He just came prancing up the stairs... Brian hanging in his mouth. Yup.
Wow, that was a sad story.

... *does a jig and runs off*

If you have a dog, do something with the water so that a hamster CAN'T drown in it. Take it from me, finding your hamster that had escaped in a bucket of dog water which is just so deep his little feet couldn't touch is NOT a pleasent experience.
And your hamster WILL get out, so I strongly reccomend what I said before.

I can beat it. My dad's dog ate one of my kittens. Killed a couple cats.

Yup.

Anyway, congrats on the hamster. I had gerbils for a while, but I must confess by the time they died I was grateful.

I wanted a hamster too but I think my cats were be more interested in one than me. I can imagine when the hamster is running around my house inside that big ball and my cats chasing it around. :(

We had a gerbil and a cat at the same time once. I accidently left the door open to the gerbil when I was five... Luckily my brother woke up and saved the gerbil before kitty could eat him. o_o
Aww, hamsters are cuuute. Though if I had one I'd name it Apocalyptic Deity. Apodee for short. XD
Good luck with little Edwin. :3

I used to have two hamsters, Ender and Chester. But well, Ender kept trying to kill Chester, he died, and then eventually my friend picked up Chester one day and he died in her hands. X___X Well hamsters are fun anyway, except for when you have a cat. :)
