Pink Poogle Toy Forum

so I'm looking throught the trading post today and I see a pink pb. The girl wants 800k and a baby pb.... so I look at the rest of the prices on the trading post and they're all 1 mil or higher. When did this happen cause I thought that pink pbs are more common then the others?

It's because there is an avatar that requires you to feed popcorn to a Pink pet. Same thing happened to the Island pb because of the Quiggle avatar...

Yes, lately inflation has been a real problem.

Didn't TNT promise to find a way to lower the prices of PBs though? Instead, they bump it up with the avatar x_X

Yeah, I really hate those kinds of avatars because inflation affects EVERYONE, av collector or not. My friend's dream of an Island Aisha will probably never come true because of the stupid Quiggle av that isn't even all that great of an av... just to increase a little number on their lookup by ONE point... avs irritate me lol.

Oh i see now... yeah TNT did say they were lowering pb prices... I think they thought they did that with the newbie paintbrushes though

those newbie brushes are pointless, if you want a red bruce, then start him out red, don't make him green and hope for a red newbie brush

Thank you, Ducky. That was my first thought, as well, when I heard of those inane newbie PB's. I thought it was the stupidest thing I had ever heard of (erm, with the exception of the auctions times --short, long, very long, extremely long, endlessly long, etc--when the auctions were recently made over). A newbie with a red pet doesn't want a green pet, he wants a faerie/darigan/royal/baby/maraquan/pink/orange/shadow pet--anything but a color he could have originally created.

I mean geesh, no offense, TNT, but did anyone think this idea through, logically, before putting it into action?

Hey, I've heard plenty a newbie ask for a basic PB. Anyway, theer is the fact that quite often, when making a new pet, you may choose the wrong colour by accident. It happened to me (I wanted a Yellow Lupe, got Blue).

Aaaanyway, at least it'll lower the prices of the basic PBs a little.

It also keeps newbies from freaking out when a RE changes thier pet. They can paint it basic again. Personally, I think Newbie paint brushes will make newbies feel more like nubs (if that word is allowed).
