In this age of downloading, I figure we should celebrate artists that whose CDs we actually went out to buy!

That and I wanted to brag about my most recent purchases.

Today I got:
Welcome To My Nightmare by Alice Cooper
Strange Days by The Doors
and I went halvsies with my friend on Day One by Sarah Slean

So what have you been spending your hard earned cash on?

Probably Radiohead's The Bends. A friend ended up borrowing my old copy and keeping it so long I just let him have it.

Got it last week :D

Oh, and I wouldn't say hard earned cash in my case :\

I honestly can't remember the last time I purchased a CD - very rarely do I have the money. I think the last one might have been the CD single for Kelis' Milkshake though :)

Aha! Alas, I bought that one about two weeks ago for my birthday after being badgered by one of my friends. I understand why he kept telling me about it now. It's EXCELLENT.

Hm, but yes, I actually didn't own but three CDs until Christmas and my birthday. My most recent purchases have been:

1) Room Noises by Eisley
2) The Mysterious Production of Eggs by Andrew Bird
3) OK Comptuer by Radiohead
4) The Bends by Radiohead
5) Showbiz by Muse
6) Absolution by Muse (had an 'illegal' copy for the longest time, though)

Last CD I bought was Loudermilk-The Red Album. It only cost me a dollar, since it was a used copy. Let me tell you, it took me two months to find that CD anyway.

The last CD I bought for someone is Ashlee Simpson - "Autobiography". I can't remember what CD's I got for myself. I am planning to get the following CD's:

"Fallen" - Evanescence
"Goodies" - Ciara
"Under My Skin" - Avril Lavigne

Does iTunes count since I actually paid for it? If so, the last one I got was the soundtrack to Wicked.

If not, the last I got was Preface by Jessica Harp.

Nothing much lately. I got Jimmy Buffett's Songs You Know By Heart recently, but that's really it.
