What's the biggest decision you've ever made? How did it change your life and are you glad you made it?

Last week (being stranded on a mountain and fearing for my life) I decided to leave school for good to follow my dance dreams. I applied for college to study dance full time yesterday and then, hopefully onto University to become professional.

I'm still nervous about the consequences and what all my friends are going to say but it's something I really want to do and there's no way I can leave it any longer. If (when) I fail, I know at least I'll never wonder "what if?".

Anyway, spill. :P

My biggest decision? Probably at the end of primary school, when I had the choice of a few scholarships to take up. I chose an overseas one in the end (I was only 12 at that time), and I'm glad I made that decision.

Iggedit: I don't like grammar nazi-ing. Or spelling nazi-ing.
Give over.

*gives* Just a friendly correction. ;)

Well, NOT leaving high school in grade 11 is one of them. I was planning on transferring to another school but I don't know if I was actually keen on it, but I stuck it through and graduated with high marks and went to University of Toronto..so I guess that worked out :)

Also, I left an emotionally abusive and controlling boyfriend about 3 years ago which has improved me exponentially for the better.

Probably deciding to move here. I think the changes are pretty obvious...and I'm very glad I made it.

I don't know if I've made any.
While my life's not really been handed to me on a plate I've never had to make a life-changing decision.

In that it could be, I guess GCSE choices. Nice and boring; but subjects I chose then have a knock on effect on the rest of my academic life which affects the rest of my...life.

Probably so far its been the decision I made on what course I was going to do at Uni. After Uni however, it will then become the range of jobs or directions I decide to go in. There have been a couple of decisions I almost made that would have probably had major impacts on my life but consider they weren't chosen it's not so bad.

Um...firmly saying that I will not migrate to Canada years ago. Sometimes I regret it, sometimes I don't. :P

Choosing between two secondary schools  The first one, three of my best friends were going to; and the second one, a different school which is supposed as an extremely good one which offered this and that and blah ... Anyway, at first I wanted the first one for sure but my parents wouldn't stop badgering me about it as they wanted me to go to the better school, and so eventually after many days I gave in and I went to the second school -_-

I rather regret my choice because I miss my old friends and the people in the school I'm in now aren't as great as them >.<

Probably choosing between my dog and her brother when I drove four hours to adopt one of them. It was just heart-wrenching to have to choose. ;-;

Hmm...the biggest decision I've ever made was probably deciding not to do homework after 3rd grade...my grades are terrible now and I'll have trouble getting into a good college. Then when I end up going somewhere cheap, my mom's going to yell at me and refuse to let me talk to the family ever again.

:)

Well...I don't think I've made any big decisions in my life. I'm only 12. But...I guess deciding to join Neopets changed my life a bit. Cause now I spend way too much time on the computer. :P But I wonder, sometimes, what my life would be like if I hadn't joined Neopets. I would've never learned HTML, and I wouldn't be such a good writer (for a 12 year old) because Role Playing on Neopets seriously improved my writing skills.

To go to Belgium to study here for a year or not... and as you can figure out I went, sometimes it feels a bit bad, but I haven't regretted it so far.

Heh, probably choosing between eggs or bacon for breakfast.

Seriously.
