I posted these on the thread about the April Fools pets in general chat but I guessed that maybe a few people might be interested in the recolourings/adoptables I made of the very cute Polaflint pet.

I know Elurial is doing recolours too so I really hope you don't mind me posting my polaflints *worries* It was just too addictive after I'd done the basic colours...and I hope this is the right place to post - if not please let me know.

Without further ado and from my yurbles petpage:

Original blue, red, yellow and green:


Brown, Pink, Orange and Purple:


Silver, Gold, White and Shadow:


Skunk, Speckled, Glowing and Split:


Just the basic colours really, a couple need a bit of touching up which I will do when I can and I'm afraid they have my name on them as I don't have room to host both those versions and the nameless ones. I'll try and do spotted, starry, striped and maybe electric when I have some more free time

HeHe. No, I don't mind at all.

I'll probably still do the Polaflint at some point, but it'll probably just be along the lines of the basic colours I've already been doing. Who knows, maybe one day I'll get around to doing colours like Glowing, Spotted, Gold and Silver.

But anywho, like I said, I don't mind at all. And like R4che1, I really like the Split Polaflint - especially considering that Split is normally a colour I can't stand.

Hehe, thanks x) I really like the split one too, I think maybe because the whole pet isn't purple and orange, and the fact that they are less in your face shades too.

The glowing one needs neatened up a bit...maybe tomorrow, hee. For now though I really am done with psp for a bit - but I'm really glad people like these, it's my first bash at doing anything like this =) It's fun

Oh wow, I like the split one. One eye is orange and one is purple, that's great! It's not a blinding amount of color like the ones on Neopets are, and the orange and purple actually look good together for once. My second favorite is the purple one, he's a cutie! ^-^

I like all of them except for the glowing one; I think it's 'cause the fluffy-style doesn't really suit glowing. That's what I think but hey

Aww, thanks for all the lovely comments =) I'm so glad people like them, hehe. I haven't done any new ones yet due to work and stuff but I have redone a couple in flash to make them a bit smoother and so I can resize the images better to play around with for other stuff. It should make it a lot easier to do the other colours afterwards as well.

Purple, orange, brown, blue and split have been redone, but there ain't much difference - they're just a bit cleaner and it's faster for me to recolour now, yay

Edited to add a missing L so no one thinks I've done a spit coloured pet xD


...well I've redone them all now so I'll be able to do some more recolours, yay =)

I've done spotted so far, will hopefully get striped, cloud, rainbow and maybe electric done by the end of the weekend - work permitting

Fire and ghost x) I am particularly happy with the ghost one As usual, all Polaflints can be found on my yurbles petpage =)

I'll just edit this post for any new colours from now on to stop it bumping up

the purple fits perfect in it!

the ghost is cool, but i don't like the way you did the eyes atleast the pupil should've remained black

Ooh these are really nice. I may just put one of them somehwere. i can't decide what color I like the best.

I picked the fire one and put it in my shop.

Heehee thanks The ghost one has eyes based on the ghost jetsam which is why there are no pupils - they are socketless eyes

I was going to do darigan and faerie (in a lazy way of course) but I ended up with a faerie and dark faerie - these polaflints just won't turn evil =)



Faerie and dark faerie, based on the faerie grundo which isn't redrawn aprt from wings either - convenient that ;D Wings are borrowed from the faerie shoyru partly =)

to make the dark faerie darigan BTW, just give it claws, dracula teeth and a demonic smile

Hehe, I can only do the simple redraws I'm afraid..at least until I get a graphics tablet

Last of the redraws for now, I did darigan but I'm gonna keep the dark faerie one up too =) Back to simple recolours for a while methinks



Darigan has heee-uge wings too make him kinda bat like. He's modelled on the funky darigan scorchio x)

I was gonna do quite a few of the simple recolours I have left to do tonight but starry took longer than expected. I re-did rainbow because I thought the previous version sucked, heh, and I've done cloud and starry.



I'm still not happy with starry but I'm leaving as is for now *is tired* I'm happy with the other two though
