Basically, depending on what you choose, this determines whether you're a pessimist or an optimist.

A glass of water sits before you but it is only filled half way. Do you say that the glass is half empty or half full?

I say half empty. I'm one heck of a pessimist.

I always think of it as half full, but when I'm really thirsty it's just empty.

It's both. Half of the glass is empty, half of it is full.

But seriously, I agree with CardShark. Both.

Well, with drinks I look at it as half full.

But I am a pessimist.

It's usually half full unless I'm stressed out of my mind and only then is it half empty.

Half empty because it just sounds better that way...in a depressing kind of way.

It's half as big as it needs to be. o.o; What would that classify as?

I don't know, honestly. Most of the way my life is going at the moment affects how I see this age-old question.

Eh well. :P
