Here is what I have at the moment. (I still have 1 1/2 weeks of school and need to take the finals next week)

Biology: B+, maybe A- (unsure)
Geometry: A-
Computers: A
World History: A
English: A
Spanish 2: A+ (Not quite, but I have like a 99%)

Here's what I think my final grades will be after finals

Biology: A
Geometry: B+ or A-
Computers: A
World History: B (we have a lot of maps on our finals )
English: A
Spanish: A

I'm not going to be on much this week and next week because of finals. I'm trying to get straight A's, so hopefully I can achieve my goal :).

By the way, A: 90-100%, B: 80-89%

Well, the report card coming up isn't our final one, we still have one more after that. Nonetheless, my predictions:
Math: B
English A
PE: A
Orchestra: A
French: B
History: A

Meh. Hopefully I can raise the Bs by the end of the semester. :(

Yes, I am smart. lol

Or...to play devil's advocate...maybe you just have really easy classes? :)

I haven't gotten my grades back yet, but after hearing I got one of the only 3 As on my English paper...I have very few worries. I know I passed everything and am pretty sure I got at least a B in all of my classes. As for being exact...no one really cares. No one here would understand why I'm so proud about my grades unless you attended my school, anyway (or at least knew a lot about it).

I don't think we get grades in the UK but for my SATs (standerd assasement tests) (sp?) I think I got:
English long writhing test: 3/4-handwriting 4/5-spelling 11/12-content.
English short writing tes: 2/3-hand writing 5/6-content
English reading test: 37/40
Scince test A:37/40
Scince test B: 36/40
Maths W/O calcutor:35/40
Maths with calcutor:37/40

Yep thats about right, I will be realu upset if I get less than 33 points in scince or maths.

I need to get at least a total of 176% in two subjects, English 12, and any other one to get a scholarship. Unfortunately, I think right now I'm barely there, so if I do poorly on the provincial exams, worth 40% of the final mark, I'm toast. x_x

But hopefully I'll get straight A's. Although if all my courses are at 86%, that's still rather useless. -_-

english an easy A (i hope) my last few essays were terrible, because i write too much , but i finished the exam (we have mid years right now) so hopefully it will pull it up to that A i need.

chemistry, A (no subjects give a+s and stuff, only "high" As, which you work out by looking at your scores)
physics A
applicable i hate this subject C (55%?)
discrete an A hahaha easily above 85%
political and legal studies, a A/B thats were i am right now, its the last exam, so i don't expect that will do me any favors.

yeah, i'm not that fabulously smart, at the end of the year, i bet our school gets scaled down alot. last year, discrete was scaled down 10%. i don't know why i am doing applic, i don't need it, oh yes i do, my parents want me to

i have my applic exam tomorrow, maybe i should study..

Maybe you also should note your grading scale. The abundance of A/A+s means that, in reality, the grading scale is too generous.

Here, for example, you get a grade out of 13 (0 worst, 13 best). Meanwhile, it's near-impossible to get 13, and completely impossible to get straight 13s (unless you're doing something you should have been doing two years ago). The "top" grade? 11. It's extremely hard to get anything above that, even if you spend your entire time studying only for that subject.

In other words: "straight A/A+s without real effort = your class is too stupid for you to get any benefit from being there"

But what about making the kids feel good about themselves and boost their self-esteem? [/sarcasm]

Don't be afraid to see the truth, even if no one wants you to. Be yourself and not a fool. Don't ever be afraid to speak your mind and listen to criticism. Dissent is keeps our country progressive and willingness to challenge yourself is what keeps yourself ever evolving.
