Mom:

- I have my mom's temper for SURE. :P

- We both slam doors.

- Llove for animals,which I'm grateful for.

- We look and sound alike. Really.

- Both of us are shy.

- Low confidence.

Dad:

- I pick up lines from movies and things and remember them for ages and repeat them non-stop.

- We stare into space stupidly a lot.

- We basicly act like goofs, but we can be very serious when we want to be.

The only thing I have in common with my father is athleticism, but he wasn't even all that atheltic... we both have brown hair though, but that could've just as easily come from my mom, who also has brown hair.

I got brown eyes from my mom, my dad's are strangley blue.
I got my temper from my mom.
I got my "book smarts" from my mom, my "street smarts" from who-knows-where.
I look ALOT like my mom.
I got the under-weight regardless of what I eat factor from my mom... curse her!

Other than that... I seem to be quite different from my mom.

Shortness from both sides of the family. We're all pretty short.
Allergies from my mom.
One thing I'm glad I didn't inherit is my dad's motion sickness.
I can't think of the right word for this, but my not liking to be around people for long periods of time from my dad.

There are probably more, but this is something I've never really thought much about before.

My knees are bad... of course having them both hit with a baseball bat when I lived in NY doesn't help either.

I got bad eyesight from both sides of my family, my smartness from my mom, and my musical talent from my dad. When my dad died, I also got his clarinet.

well, my drawing abilties from my mother, and my temper also. I don't know where my bad eyesight comes from, as nobody in both their families are short sighted :o My height maybe from my dad, and my sense of humour from my mum I suppose. Oh, and I got hayfever from both of them -_-

I get my nose, my underbite, and my temper from my mom, and math skills and poor eyesight from my dad. I get my short height from both of them.

As for inheritance after death, I've received money for post-secondary use.

My father's desire to play sports, and my mother's physical ineptitude.

Add to that my grandfather's nasty snapslice on the tee, and I'm a hazard on the golf course, that's for sure.

Location: I'll never get scurvy. XD
Height (and the lack of it)-Entire family
Nose (and the lack of it)-Paternal grandmother
ISTJ'ness, temper, love of fish-Mother
Love of stuffed animals-Mom's sister (aunt)
Large front teeth, legs and weird shaped behind-Dad

I'm not sure if musical ability is inherited, but I like to think that the logical precision of my mom and emotional un-precision of my dad came together and fused into me.

What I didn't get:
My mom's love of calculus, physics, and logic
My dad's athleticism
My aunt's tallness-she probably has the one smidge of tall in the family.
My maternal grandfather/greatgrandfather's ability to fix things

Hmmm, let's see...

Mom:
-Brown Eyes
-Temper
-Habit of being quick to apologize and sympathetic

Dad:
-Curly brown hair
-Temper
-Tallness
-Love of rock music
-Stupid slooooooow metabolism (for some reason I manage to stay fairly thin though :P )
-Addiction to computers
