Which is more important to you, logic and rationality or feelings and emotions? Do you feel that there has to be a logical explanation for everything? Or do you tend to follow and act on your feelings, even if they are sometimes irrational and illogical?

Please answer honestly according to your own personality. Most people will favour one over the other.

Pfft. Bronte quote stealer. :o

Well, I say:

Better to be without feeling than without logic.

:) If you felt without logic, than you would not understand why you felt certain ways, nor would you understand how to feel better when you were depressed or something.

Although I appreciate logic... I tend to act more on feelings then anything else. Sometimes, my feelings might be based on logic... but, still, they are my feelings.

So. Yes. ^_^;;

I myself am very logic-oriented, to the extent that I sometimes detach myself and analyse my thoughts and feelings. I like to ask people questions like "why do you do this" or "why do you like that", and despise answers like "I don't know, I just like it". Sometimes this makes others perceive me as an unfeeling intellectual snob (which perhaps I am). :P

I act on logic. I pretty much bottle up all feelings and emotions and push them to the back of my mind so by doing that I really force myself to act only on logic. Having said that, it might be nice to act on emotion once in awhile.

I used to act on feelings a lot until I grow older. I think I am a more logic person now.

It really depends on the situation. I tend to use logic more often, but there are some situations that aren't about that.

Don't be afraid to see the truth, even if no one wants you to. Be yourself and not a fool. Don't ever be afraid to speak your mind and listen to criticism. Dissent is keeps our country progressive and willingness to challenge yourself is what keeps yourself ever evolving.

Isn't it weird that most of those who have posted are in favour of logic, but according to the poll feelings are more popular?

P/S: I knew I shouldn't have included a middle ground stance. Many people who can't make up their minds will automatically choose it without thinking over it properly.

I'm not sure. I act illogically and impulsively, and yet I still need an explanation for things.

I'm very confusing. I'll think it over and post later.

I guess like Paul said... It depends on the situation... But most of the time its logic.
