Ever needed to do something, but had too tight of a schedule to work it in? Well, I present to you: multitasking! It's not for everyone, but it can ease up large amounts of time, and you'll finish what you need to do!

Ah, enough with the over-excitedness. Tell us how you multitask, and what it accomplishes. :)

I'm quite fond of RollerCoaster Tycoon (the first one). I never wanted the second one, but I want to get the third game...only after I complete the first one though. I've found that it takes a bit less than an hour to complete a year, and since there arethree-four years in each senario, I'd be spending way too much time solely playing the game each day. However, there are many points in the game where you have to wait for something to finish (like ride research), meaning I wouldn't have to concentrate on the game very much. So, I've started doing my homework while playing. I get a senario or two done each day, and I finish all of my homework while I'm at it.

Have about 50 tabs open for Firefox... Well, not 50, but more like 10.

So as I'm tying this, I'm also researching something for school, playing a MMORPG, a few forums, and PSP open.

Anyone who is a mom, like me :P, knows about multi-tasking. All too well. I empty the dishwasher while on the phone with a friend. I sort laundry while watching my favorite show on TV and throw it into the washer/dryer during the commercials. I play Neo while something related to work is printing on the computer.

It seems that there is not enough time in the day for everyone to accomplish everything that needs to be accomplished--so we are forced to multi-task. At times, I hate it.

But, since you probably meant this to be about Neopets, I will give a multi-tasking secret. Right before I go to bed, I spin the Wheel of Monotony. Therefore, I am not limited as to what I am doing on Neo while waiting for the stupid wheel to make up its mind. When I wake up in the morning, the thing has finally stopped moving and I get to see the good/bad/indifferent thing I have won.

Multi-tasking is fun! ^_^ I do it all the time. Seriously, whenever I don't respond for a couple of minutes in a chat or something, they go, "Twizzy's multi-tasking again, isn't she..."

And I've thought about doing the homework thing, but, I can never have it gathered in one place at a time... Bleh.

Twizzler, somehow, my daughter is able to do homework while listening to her music (IPOD) and being online (GAIA, Neopets, etc.) --all at the same time. Sometimes, the TV next to her computer is blaring Comedy Central at the same time. She brings home A's so I have pretty much given up trying to fight it.

except when im sleepy. or angry. annoyed. generally grouchy. hungry/thirsty.
so not very well most of the time.

RCT is my favorite game! I'm on my way to completing the first one for the third time , even though I have the second and some random expansion pack.
I definitely do homework while I wait to earn money/get more visitors.

No, I'd do it... it's just I won't bring all my homework by the computer so I can do it... I probably should though.

... For some reason I have the odd feeling that we are talking about two completely different things. =]

Mm. Tis a very good skill Morningstar :P

I do that daily. Computer + TV (which is on the TV, so maybe that's a small bonus :P) + Homework.

I can't do it otherwise!

Although I definitely can't do it for English, or while playing games. Cause... games mean games. No room for Multitasking there :P And english... well... that requires reading. (x.x)

Perhaps writing a cultural studies essay while studying for Physics while restocking while chatting on PPT can count as multitasking? :P

I'm a brilliant Mulitasker.
Just on Saturday night/Sunday morning I was:
Talking to Khristian on MSN,
Watching Star Trak: Voyager, (My fave Star Trek series)
Listening to Green Day,
Posting on PPT
And also playing on Neo

All of this was at 5:00 am I probably would've been playing on my Gameboy too if I wouldn't have been so tired XD

I'm crap at multi-tasking. I tried to iron my shirt and cook a pizza at the same time but I left the door open. I'm too disorganised and scatty to multi-task.
