I'm a very fast reader. The fastest in my class. I don't know why though. The people in my class think it's weird that I can finish a 300 page book in an hour.

Anyway it really matters if I'm interested in the book I am reading. For instance the first Harry Potter book took me about three days because I didn't really like it. But then about a week later I started to read A Series Of Unfortunate Events and I read the whole series in a couple days. And my teacher was amazed how I was devouring my books.

So the point is, is if I like the book I can finish it in a day but if I'm not very interested it can take a couple days.

I think the only reason I'm a speed-reader is because I'm on the internet everyday and all you do on the internet is read so yeah that has helped me much! :)

That's around 20 words per second. I believe you either typoed or are exagerrating. Way exagerrating.

I inhale books. The bigger the better. But I rarely have time to just sit and read a whole book of my choice in one sitting. Reading quickly does come in handy, though, for studying purposes.

I'm a really quick reader. I can finish a Harry Potter book in 2-3 hours, the whole Lord of the Rings in under a day, and I get faster each time I read a book :P Although, if I'm not really into the book, it can take a couple of days, but I reach my library limit every two weeks (14 books at a time) so on average i read a book a day, although a lot of the time I finish at 12-1 am :P

2-3 days for a 300 page book, 1 week for a 800 page book.

I do read really fast which is incriedibly annoying when we read as a class. Lately I haven't had time to read much what with exams coming up. However, I finished Harry Potter 4 in an evening.

Well, it depends how good the book is, or if the series gets better. For example, I didn't like the prequil of the Tripod series much so I went through it pretty slow, (like two months), but then when I got to the 1st real book in the series, I went through it faster.

If the book is really good like the Cherub Seires (So far The Recruit and A Class) I qould go through them exceedingly fast. In fact, I read A Class beteen lunch and dinner with no toilet breaks

Anyway, I usually could read a page of a normal sized book faster than most of my friends. Mabye, a minute or less.

It depends on how interested I am in it. If its a reread, Probably a week or so, but if Its Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Probably 2 days, depending on how long it is.

If I feel like reading, I can get a book a day read but more often than not, I'll start reading a horrible book and just stop reading for a long time.

I have a friend, though, who reads way too much. HEr head's going to fall off. o_o

I read pretty slowly.
Even if I'm really getting into a book it still takes me a while to read it.
Mainly b/c I get distracted easily and that I have to read each line twice.
So yeah... a book every few weeks for me. Maybe a book a week...but right now. it's every few weeks. I'm in no hurry.

Kinda hard to believe we have so many 'read a book in a day' readers here though *glares around suspisciously*
