Neopets moving at a halt!

Gah, I get home today and I'm able to load the new news and the battle info but that's about it. Neopets is horriobly slow for me most likely because of the war and all but it is worse then the L.A. rush hour! Anyone else experiencing slowness?

EDIT: It's now 9:07 NST (11 my time) and the battledome along with other places are still creeping along!!

At least my guild's picking up a "little" speed.

I won't particpate in this war, because of the ridiculous Supporter system, so I'm stayin off PPT until the War is over. I may go on for the dailies, but thats it.

WWQQ It's Time Saver Traffic! Good evening fellow Neopians. There is a server crash with the war and most Warriors can't fight today! In other news supports are protesting infront of the local Soup Kitchen complaining of the high prices that other user are charging for items. Our top story is: Neopets is slow has --------. Seems to be the battledome that is lagging for me, which is to be expected.

I can't even get into the fight... I click on the opponent's name, my computer works and works, then returns me to the "choose opponent" page. Ugh.

I do not believe this. "You won't need expensive weapons to take part" - uh HUH, right...and us supporters have to shell out NP for Codestones and heavily inflated weapons >>; (when the heck did Coral Orbs go from easy to obtain to near-unbuyable, since they're a common item?)

Unbuyables too (for some poor supporters)?
I mean, seriously? "Fair for all" I extremely doubt by this point! And what the heck do they need Codestones for? Can someone please answer that question?

...yeah...so much for a trophy. I'm damned well just going back to RS'ing the entire time of this war >>;

The site is laggy, the bd is a nightmare, I still haven't gotten 1 battle in. I did find out I'm level 2 which is absurd. So much for not needing expensive weapons ... even with them, I'm not going to get far. And the whole supporters thing? Bah! Someone posted on another topic that a super u-bend cost them 60k? I bought one last night for 4k as a just in case weapon.

To my knowledge none of the warriors have gotten any of these "donations" from supporters, so I don't know what the point is. The war is already ruined, the servers obviously can't handle the load ... why isn't the BD on a separate server, at least for wars?, and it's cost alot of people way too much already. And it's only the first day!

I'm very disappointed with the whole thing. And the general site lag/not being able to get to my guild at the moment is not helping my mood.
