That's right... On July 1st, 1867 Queen Victoria issued the British North AMerica Act of 1867...

Yup, Happy Canada Day to all. ^_^ Anyone who was online and on my buddylist this morning recieved a Canada Day attack(and I'm not stopping there, Im gonna keep going as people sign on :D ).

I can't wait for tonight. I love fireworks :)

It's rained out for me all the festivities are outside :cry: ah well it was bound to happen, I got 2 good years in a row, hopefully next year is better.

I knew I should've worn red and white today. :lol: (I wore red and white the other day and called it my Canada suit.) So...can I ask a question? Is Canada Day the equivalent of our 4th of July/Independence Day?

But...ah, Vancouver's decided to stop the fireworks. Actually, that was two years ago, due to the drunkenness, the mobs, the strain on the police force...

And there are no other festivities. Bleh.

I saw the fireworks at the most crowded place in town (with the best view). There really wasn't any ruckus. I think the government just doesn't want to "waste" money on fireworks anymore.

Then again, that's okay, considering how much in the hole we are.
