For those topics one could describe as the forum equivalent of a twinkie. Word games, forum contests and giveaways are all the rage here.

Hehe, silly Wind for leaving Matt's Photobucket URL out. ;)

Woot! We PWN!

...

How did we get 8 points though? O_O or is it added from our previous blackmail message?

We were team 6, so apparently she didn't get it...

Gah i just checked my sentbox and it seems i never sent it to her, but i do remember sending it to her, but i do have the pm that i sent to you saying what i did. But that's over and we'll see if wind every did get it, importantly we weren't the losing team.

I noticed that too. ;) It led me through a bunch of Source scanning before I figured it out. :p

Oh well, I still love our blackmail letter :D

Now, who to eliminate ._.

Thu Jun 02, 2005 10:13 am

Eh. No idea.

I personally find it a bit unfair that because of the forum downtime, our PM disappeared, when it was sent in. But meh.

Thu Jun 02, 2005 11:20 am

Yeah. I dont have my pm for some odd reason so I cant check how well we did and how many simply people guess us on :(. Totally missed the matt thing, but I think it just sounded Twizish enough that I picked that one for their team anyways :-). Eaiset by far was the warning one... team 2 is the only one with a high enough ranked person to accually scare Wind by sening it ;)

Fri Jun 03, 2005 6:43 pm

I know, the PMs were messed a lot... but I figured out that even if all the teams sent guesses, the final result would have been the same (maybe a couple of papayas more or less...)
I left Matt's URL because... well, he was careless enough to left it, did him? He should have used more caution when committing the crime :P
And as for Shoyru_Lover, that's what you get for abuse of power.
Everyone posted :D I'm happy I don't have to kick off people.

I'd just like to say that, I'm not going to be able to guarantee getting on until Thursday night. I'm leaving for Chicago tomorrow morning, and I may not have internet access for much of that time.

Sorry Blk Mage!

mmk thats fine. It just depends on when Wind posts the new task but hopefully it won't be too hard.

How do you know that for sure?

It's just that since our PM was lost in the crash, we lost the task and have to eliminate a member, which was beyond our control.

Sat Jun 04, 2005 4:06 pm

Er, I might have made some typoes with the Papaya counting...
You had actually a difference of 6 papayas with the other teams, meaning that you should have guessed correctly all the other PMs... in that case there would have been a tie, but since your PM would have been the last one arrived, you would have been eliminated anyways. Er, yes, this was confusing.

Task 5 - Who killed Wind?
Wind met with three fluffy bunnies last night. They were going to discuss about Papaya juice as usual, and then plot world domination.
Unluckily, Wind was found last morning dead in a alley with a knife in her back.
Fluffy Bunny A said Wind looked perfectly normal. She had drank a lot of Papaya juice, laughed a lot, told a lot of jokes nobody understood and went home late. In his home the police found a lot of money. Fluffy Bunny A said he won it nearly legally betting on mice races.
Fluffy Bunny B said that Fluffy Bunny C was very jumpy. He (C) even broke his glass when Wind spoke to him. Fluffy Bunny B also thinks A looked at Wind in a suspicious way. Fluffy Bunny B is scared because he thinks he's going to be killed next, if he doesn't kill the others first.
Fluffy Bunny C refused to speak to the police. In his pocket there was a piece of paper covered with numbers. His doctor said that he might be mentally unstable, which means he's just your average murderous Fluffy Bunny.
In the hotel room where the four met, there was a broken window. Two coins under the table. A deck of cards with all the aces missing. And some empty bottles of Papaya juice.
So... who killed Wind?
What to do:
Find out who killed me :P
There is a solution I thought up, but I don't think you've got a mind devious enough to find that one. There are also red herrings and all.
So you have to make up your solution for the "Wind case". You can write it as a short story, or just say "Fluffy Bunny X did it so and so, because of this"
PM this to me.
Eliminations:
I don't want to judge the entries alone again... so I'll make each team vote for their favourite entry (they'll be anonymous, of course). I'll give you all the details after the entries are sent in.
The entry with less votes will lose.
Reward:
Each vote = 3 papayas. No bribing :P
Deadline:
You've got 3 days.
Deadline is Tuesday 7th, 4 pm GMT.

Again, you don't have to find out the real solution. You have to make up the best solution.

What are the numbers on the sheet?

Sat Jun 04, 2005 8:34 pm

Numbers, you know... like 32 867 92384 13 132 1928490.
You can use those, if it helps you.
Did you think they had any sense? :P Well, of course, they have, but I'm not telling you because I'm dead.

Sat Jun 04, 2005 10:29 pm

Is papaya juice alcoholic?

Sat Jun 04, 2005 10:59 pm

I'm somewhat confused.

Do we have to correctly find out who killed you? Or do we make up our own story on the murder using the culprit of our choice?
