Last night I was feeling really tired. My eyes were running and heavy and stinging. My body ached. I thought I was just tired. How wrong could I be? Woke up this morning with a stinking head cold. My nose is so blocked I can barely speak normally, my throat and tonsils are hurting so much that the pain spreads right to my ears, I have had a splitting headache all morning and my eyes are still the same. I thought it could have been hayfever but I think this is a bit more severe. For me at least. If I get hayfever these days it's never as bad as this.

I need virtual hugs...

I'm not joking either. I don't need my cold to get worse.

That and I've got impetigo which is very contagious, and I don't think you want a skin infection.

Last I checked you couldn't catch something (that isn't a computer virus) off someone via the Internet so I'm more than safe giving you hugs *big huggles* I do hope you start feeling better soon, my suggestion would be just rest in bed and try not to stress or worry too much about the fact that you're not well, it'll only make things worse *hugs again*

Amen to that! I've found that ginger ale helps with colds as well, and nearly any warm, steamy drink clears your head as well.

I'm still feeling cruddy. My chest has gone all horrible now too. I hope it doesn't result in me getting a chest infection too Could just be the head cold though making me feel like that.

The tea with honey in it sounds really cool though. I might try it. After I've had a lemsip and two tablets.

Anyway, take it easy. Take some naps, do things you enjoy and drink lots of fluids. Being sick is a real downer, but it doesn't have to be boring. (I find that when I'm sick I like to color! Espicially really corny My Little Pony coloring books. xP)
