Only Rachel may join the real exam stress group with her 3 weeks!

My exams start on MONDAY. Well no, they started on the 23rd of May.

I hate you.

If you'd have spoken to me last week, I so would have been included. I had 5 hours of exams on Monday, 3 hours on Thursday and 3 hours on Friday. *shudder* I hate exams which end in a qualification. I miss lower school. I miss the G.C.S.E's!

I've developed impetigo (as in it was lying in wait already there but not on the surface) through stress. Eep.

I don't even know who I hate.

*hugs* You hate exam boards. And I developed psorisis. Yay for icky skin conditions and stress.

Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. Horrible, horrible stuff.

*tears face apart with nails*

Well for G.C.S.E. you have a practical exam in front of an examinor who marks you on lots of difficult stimulae. For example, content of piece, context, facial expressions, clarity of voice etc.

When you get to A Level, you have a written exam on a certain playright. For me it was Bertolt Brecht and then you have to portray a scene from one of their greatest works. I did Scene 2 from the Caucasian Chalk Circle. But God knows what we're going to do as our Fat Prince has got the mumps.

Ok, so 50 million exams over the course of 3 weeks sucks. Big time. Can I join the club? I didn't write 50 million, but I write 5 in 24 hrs... does that count??

English- 9-noon
Organic Chem- 2-5pm
Psychology 7-10pm
Biology 9-noon
Calculs 2-5pm

Ok, so a little over 24 hrs... but bleh. That was a fun few days. On the bright side, I was done mighty quick!

Exams are no fun...I had two poli sci finals in one day a few weeks ago, Law and Politics at 8 AM and War and Politics at 11:30 AM. My poli sci profs love to give essay tests, so I was filling up the blue books for sure. It's a good thing I had the really nice pen my cousins gave me for Christmas two years ago, or my hand would have been extremely sore afterwards.

I have the LSAT on Monday, which has me pretty nervous. I've been studying a lot, and I've been doing much better on my practice tests, so we'll see how it goes.

I just finished my Year 8 exams last week. Not that important. But they do decide what set I go into next year. *crosses fingers* I really want the top set in all three Sciences.

Good luck to all those with exams coming up. You'll all do amazing, I'm sure. :)

I have 6 more school days. After that...

14th - Math 11 final, 15% of year
16th - English 10 provincial, 20% of year (counts for universities in province)
21st - Socials 11 provincial, 0-40% of year (premier exam, but will count for university anyway even if it's worth 0)
22nd - French 10 final, 15% of year
27th - Science 10 provincial, 20% of year (counts for universities in province)

And the only way I've prepared for any of them is by making a set saying that I'll be procrastinating. :P

And then of course...

5th - Summer school begins. >_>

ARGH! DIE FINALS! DIEDIEDIE! -stabs-

That's pretty much my attitude right now^^;;

And I don't even have Shaman King to cheer me up anymore -_- Ah well....

I had to miss all my exams for medical reasons...but! I sit them at the end of summer and after that I have no more exams ever. Never ever :D

I only have "exams" on the last day, June 15th. Gosh, I can't wait till that day is over.

My friend got "sick" first semester of gr, 12 and didnt have to write the exams. We were all really mad because she had Bio, Chem, math and an english provincial exam that she didn't have to make up. She got to keep the mark she had in the class at the time. Grr... was so not fair...

being in Canada, haha, I've optional G.C.S.E. So..naahh

Essentially it's on the basic definitions and what we covered throughout the semester. The field exam is a combination of things & far more interesting anyways.

I've got to know... whats a GCSE?? I've never heard of them and aparently they are optional in canada?

Sun Jun 05, 2005 1:48 am
