That's quite a decent question, actually! I don't know the answer, I can only guess. I presume they're the same whatever colour they go. You see, both lemons and limes have a different taste. A lime is a lot more sour and tangy. A lemon is sweeter. But then again, if a lemon goes green I suppose it could aquire the same taste as a lime, and vice versa.

Well if you look at itin the french language. Lemon in french is Citron but Lime in french is Citron Vert, which directly translates to Green Lemon. Go figure. o_0

O.o hm. Well, taste wise, it is, but it shouldn't be called an orange, that's for sure. Who's big idea was it to name a fruit after a color anyways???
