Back in the Old Days - What Do You Remember?

Hmm, what do I remember... nothing of any real difference. Oh, there were more user groups, like sports and music.

Yeah... I miss the PPT Mafia and the Outcasts... and the Debating (I know it's still here now but I applied and it's still pending... anyway They probably haven't got around to it yet... *shrug*

I remember all of those groups. I didn't post in many of them, but I was a member of the Band Room, Divas and the Outcasts. Oh, and the PPT God forum.

Oh yeah and the beyond godly bourd They were my fave... We were only a small group... It was cozy...

I miss those boards. Outkasts, and the Mafia, and the Gods board and the Beyond Godly board...

Yes, that was freaking scary. I can't remember who I started complaining about hearing voices to - it might have been Alex.

I believe so (not sure, though). 'Tis a bit odd to be chatting with one and then have that person say, quite randomly, "I'm hearing voices that aren't real." (or something similar). A bit disturbing, really.

Back in 2002, possibly 2003, there was a Crome Wars. This was just the first one, though. Everyone added "Chrome" to their name, like ChromeFox had. However, the opposing side had "Cheese". A few months later, the Chrome Wars had its second installment. This was called many things, one was "Attack of the Chromes." The opposing side wasn't "Cheese" this time, though. It slips my mind at the moment, but there was an opposing side. It got a little rough, too.

I remember I was a PPT God- and was loving it! I remember the RP boards were so completely full it was crazy! The April Fools Joke scared me to death! It was so scary, for me, and it is so funny now looking back...oh I miss the old days!

No, but when I joined the forums around November 2002, Chromefox's gender was set to male...it confused me o.O.

I remember looking at a thread when I first joined in the end of January 2003 and seeing a post by someone with a picture of a fridge full of beer with a message that said "Hey look, I found a picture of Wataguy's fridge!"

And Wataguy's reply of "Hey, if you want a beer just ask, don't go snooping." or something like that, probably funnier then what I put but it was two and a half years ago!

I remember Jim's mutant kacheek avatar too.

I remember a thread about body mods and coming across a post by Fidds saying she had peircings from head to toes, my eyes were wide and mouth hanging open until I got to the part where she said "just kidding, you gullible little sap." Which of course now we know she really wasn't kidding. She just veeeeery carefully edits them out of all her photos, how else do you explain the stark-raving gorgeousness? Foul play of course!

I remember when Ven and Stephy where *the* PPT couple. All the guys had 'I stalk Stephy' in their sigs and all the girls swooned over Ven's hair.

I remember when Fe signed up, she posted and posted and posted and posted. She had every other post in the 'person above you' game for a while.

I remember thinking that Igg was a 20something, possibly in college.

Wow, what do I remember. I definatly remember having more usergroups. Outcasts, PPT Sports (which now seems to be public), Godly, and Beyond Godly, for example. I remember ChromeFox having 12000+ posts and a board strictly for bragging about post count and people having "46th overall, 7th B" in their signatures. The start of the PinkInk was another big one. A fond memory was led by cheese and christopher i believe and was the "scare packages" for new members containing often morbid images and treats of arrow the chicken hurting them. I remember the PPT Collage that was made with all the member's submitted pictures. Jim (i think??) at one point making everyone avatar's consisting of their repeated name in lovely fonts in a rather monochromatic look.
