One time when I was in college, I went to college wearing two left shoes on my feet and I didn't notice it until halfway through the day. I had to wear those two different left shoes until when I got back home after my college day has finished for that day.

Another time when I went to this same college I had problems with the trains and on that day there were cancellations and delays due a adverse weather conditons and a fire on the rails at a different station. When I finally got to my college I was 1-2 hours late no thanks due these problems and I also find out that only me and another student in my group turned up. (As well as the tutor of course) Strangely enough that day was a college day.

My mom works at my school too, I absolutely hate it!

I woke up like any other day, showered like any other day, and the grabbed my bookbag and went to the bus stop. Ended up standing there for at least half an hour before the old woman that lived in the house at my bus stop (on the corner) came out in her robe and asked me how I was doing. I told her I was just waiting for the school bus and she replied something like "Oh... son, today's Saturday."

I just said "Okay" and walked home, but I was throughly embarrassed and I switched bus stops to the one down the street. XD

lol that made me laugh so hard! I can so see myself doing that too!

Um... the only one I can think of at the moment is something that happened to my sister. My parents wanted her to go to summer school to raise one of her marks, and when she arrived she found out that she missed it becasue it was the first 2 weeks of the month, and she came thesecond. She was rather happy becasue she didn't want to be there anyways, but my parents didn't think it was as funny.

I count down the days until my school holidays so I don't do that.
Though I do worry almost every monday if it's Bank Holiday Monday and that I shouldn't be in school

I once went to my school's Open House like...a week early. I'd forgotten what day it was on, so I just guessed that day. I was wrong.

My dad and I never actually went inside the school though.

When I was younger I got dressed in my school uniform ready for school and everything, but then my mum told me we were going back the next day, so I just narrowly missed doing that.

D: The cool thing is my mum teaches Spanish, which almost all kids take to make their chances better of getting into college!!!

I've had one of those things like "Oh, shoot! I'm late! Wait...it's summer.", but never that. Poor you. :(

Of course, I would expect it out of me. I really would.

Hehe once when I was little I was on my way back from school and I realised I needed to pee. So I hurried up a little and as I got closer the desperation got more and more intense until I eventually started running. By the time I had gotten to my front door I was so desperate that I rang the doorbell about 20 times until my mum answered the door asking me what was wrong. As soon as she had opened the door, I let out a sigh of relief as I slowly dampened my pants. I replied "Don't worry... you're too late" with a weird form of relief...

I'm sorry about that :( ! My dad is a teacher so I have never had that happen, he keeps the schedule straight. I am usually the one who is reminding people when we don't have school :)!

My grandad told me about his first day at school. He came back home and said to his mom "Phew, I'm glad schools over". Sad thing is, he didn't realise he had to go back the next day! He said he cried for ages when he found out! :roflol:

I've done that before, yep.

This morning I woke up all panicked at 8:20 and went into the kitchen, asked my stepdad what time it was because I thought my clock was wrong, then was like "ACK! I HAVE CLASS!"

Theeenn I found out it was Sunday.

Well... once my mum came in yelling at 9:30am saying "YOU'RE LATE FOR SCHOOL!" I just repied
"MUM CALM DOWN! It's Saturday!"
lol

(That is a true story.)

Has any of you like gone down for a nap at 5 pm and then wake up at 7 pm and look at the clock and panic because you thought you slept too long and are missing classes? ._.

Ehhh, can't say I have, but I've done a few sorta dumb things.

Like one time, we had mufti day at school (you don't have to wear your uniform for that day) and I show up in my uniform.

Or, it was sports day, and I come in my regular school uniform (and miss out on sport X_X)

And uhhh, all of year 8 (last year) were going on an excursion. And of course, being me, I forgot my note. So me, and one other bloke were stuck the whole day at school, sorting school applications for new Year 7 kids whist everyone else was out having the time of their lives and getting stuffed with free cake and soft drinks.

Bleh, it'd suck having a parent as a teacher. You can't muck around or even mess up a bit, or they'll be onto you faster than a bear on honey.
