More uni work. This was a quick sketch that evolved. I have a whole lot of text to go with this one, about the Lesser Tree Dragon itself... if there's interest, I'll link to it for you. But for now, here's the image itself! Comments/Criticism welcome, as always!

...If it shows too light, try http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v494/ledi/treedras.jpg.
When I tried to save the .psd as a .jpg, things went kind of weird... -.-;

Wow, those are really cool! I love the concept! I dont see much of a difference between the male and female except for ones covered in babies... the coloring is spectacular! Especially on the wings..... thats just eye candy.... i can tell you spent lots of time coloring it! And the stripes are perfect too.... and you blended them in great with the shading! (Those little zig zaggy stripe things) I also applaud you for those babies.... because you drew them in such a variety of poses.... it looks like they are jittery babies crawling around and exploring and i love it!

i only see one error on the picture.... on the female's bottom left leg, the tail needs to be overlapping that leg more because the leg stands out and it looks like some sort of buldge. other than that.... beautiful work!

Hehe, thanks. Yeah, the babies are those sort of inquisitive, gonna-nearly-kill-themselves-at-least-five-times hyperactive things... or at least, the male ones are. One of the females is a bit shyer.

I'm glad you like it, I'm just hoping my uni tutor does too.
