Am I the only one in PPT who like them? I hope not, they are awesome, I have their new album, "Hot Fuss". My favourite songs are Mr. Brightside and Somebody Told Me.

So, does anyone else like them, and what your opinions on them?

The Killers are freakin great! The best songs on the album are somebody told me and smile like you mean it. They are probably one of the best bands around at the moment in my humble opinion.

Actually The Killers are what pop music should be. Resonably talented band with catchy songs. Not rock and roll. Not going to change the world. Not going to be relevant in 5 years. Just good ol' fashioned fun music.

They're actually pretty good. I wouldn't go out and buy their CD, but I like them. Pretty snazzy stuff. *dances to Mr. Brightside*

I enjoy the two songs I know, but they're sometimes a little too catchy, and tend to get stuck in my mind for days on end. Since I can't understand what they're saying half the time, it always just ends up being garbled words in my head. But still, it's pretty fun music.

Well, um... they have other albums, like 2 of them, but still.

I love the Killers. Although, their new single "All The Things That I've Done" is really bad. I don't like it. "Mr. Brightside" is my favourite song of their's though.

I don't really like them that much, but a lot of people at my school do.

I have their new album too. Good for listening to on the bus.

I have to agree that their lyrics are just plain garbled at times...I found out that I got the lyrics to Mr. Brightside totally wrong, and I only just was able to sing karaoke to it without garbling up the lyrics to what I thought I heard. And I still can't understand some of the lyrics in Somebody Told Me.

But still, fun music. Not necessarily the best, but it's really good.

Oh really? Wow. I didn't know that! Boy-o-boy. I figured that it was one of those bands with potential that a studio would grab hold of and instead of trying to allow them to reach their full potential over a few albums, they would pre-package and exploit, through no fault of the band who I actually enjoy. But hey, I could be wrong.

By the by, what's the name of their other 2 albums?

Well, one is just one song, Somebody Told Me to be exact, and it has like, 7 different versions of the song, and one is basically the same album as Hot Fuss, but it is called Somebody Told Me and it is pink.

Yet another pop band with half naked women in their videos. Yep, wonderfully fabulous.

Where in the name of pan flipping Brandon Flowers is there old stuff?

I have issues with listening to music my Mom likes..and that my cousins think is three weeks old.

Back on topic - the Killers - did Somebody Told Me get released twice over here? I remember hearingit a lot about a year ago, and then again recently. Either way it was played to death and really got on my nerves. Other stuff's okay I suppose, I wouldn't buy it though.

I got their album and I totally regret it.
The vocalists voice is so boring. Mr Brightside and Somebody told me are the only 2 upbeat songs on Hot Fuss.
