When I was little, whenever I would let my cat outside, I'd always run and look out the window right afterward to make sure the cat was ok. I was always afraid I'd accidently shut the door on the cat's tail.

Now kids, remember that I'm a little bit older than some of you. When I was little, I thought that by the year 2000 we'd all have flying cars, or spaceships, or similar nonsense..
Boy, am I disappointed ;_;

Now, some beliefs never die. When I was 18, I was very upset with my family. I left the house and took a walk. I ended up at a nearby park, and in the park there was a fairy ring in the grass. I held my breath and stepped inside it, hoping the fairies would come and kidnap me. But they didn't ;_;
(In case you don't know, a fairy ring is a circle of mushrooms in the grass. It's a legend that if you step inside one, the fairies will kidnap you.)

A nun from school told me that God watches us ALL of the time and knows everything we do. So, logically, I deduced that God was watching me go to the bathroom. I used to cover my lap in toilet paper so He couldn't see anything. :lol:

I used to belive in the 1900's, colour hadn't been invented yet because all the photos and tv shows were in black and white.

I thought that for a person to become pregnant all they had to do was sit with the father and think really hard about having a baby. And when it was time to give birth, the stomach opened on its own, the doctor took the baby out, then it closed on its own.

:) Oh don't worry, I thought that too! I thought that everyone walked around in black and white. And you know how those old TV shows have the color in them, but it's a very dull color? (You know, like when I Love Lucy turned color?) I thought that color was starting to form and I always wondered if people paniced and got scared of the colors. O___O
Come to think of it, sometimes I still believe that. :P

I Love Lucy was never in colour. You're probably thinking of The Lucy Show.
(I am a geek and have seen every single episode of I Love Lucy ever made)

I used to think that stuffed toys came alive as soon as I left the room, and if I ran into the room fast enough, then I would see them talking. o.O

Hey, I thought that too! It was weird when I saw paintings from that time period or earlier, because they were often very colorful.

I probably believed some silly stuff, but I can't remember it. I used to believe fairies lived in the holes of the trees and I would sit and wait for them to appear. I would turn away, thinking that they would come out if I wouldn't look, then quickly turn back to see. Sillyness.

I thought that too, I remember asking my dad when everything turned to colour.

Hehe thats in a calvin and hobbes cartoon.

I used to have an imaginary freind who was a robot, and lived in my cuboard and was around 3 feet tall. He had jetpacks.

My birthday is rememberance day, so I used to think people wore poppies to celebrate my birthday and stuff :D *lots of old people sold them because i was so special!*

I also thought that if you caught yourself offguard you'd be able to fly (i read hitchhikers guide at a young age...) lol.

I belived that when people get married or when they kiss, they would have babies. And I remember avoiding that in kindergarten. So then we "bullied" the guys (i.e. just chasing them around and for some reason tickling them. Uh...they were pretty vulnerable. My best friend and I scared them muchly :D)

There was a blanket curled up in the corner of my room in front of my window, in such a way that the corners were pointed up, and it made a sillouette of devil horns. I was positive that was the devil, but I never linked the blanket and the devil together in the morning. I just thought he hid under the blanket and watched me when I was sleeping.

I used to believe in loads of odd stuff when I was younger.

Have you ever laid your head on a pillow and heard the feathers shifting about inside? Well, I used to think that noise was little goblins working in some kind of mine. :oops:

I didn't really believe anything that weird or typical (I stopped believing in Santa and the Tooth Fairy when I was, most likely, about four), though I do remember thinking that Thailand was in Europe. right above the UK and Ireland.

Don't ask why, I don't know.

can't find the sig from this set, so instead, you get a <3 .
