Eh, just a thought. I haven't thought it out at all. I was just wondering if it could work. I just got an account from a friend and I hate having a Neohome on there... Do you think that, probably far into the future, that they'd manage to set it up so that you could sell or buy Neohomes instead of tearing them down altogether or building them? I'd certainly like that feature...


And don't say that they've got enough things to work on right now. I already said "far into the future". Hopefully not THAT far...

That would be cool! I don't like having a neohome on my lookup, so I ended up tearing it down. Even then the stupid thing still shows up. I would love to be able to discard it all together.

That would be a great idea, since buying a Neohome would probably cost a lot less than building one from scratch. I would say, it has potential. I would absolutely love to sell my home (since it's pointless out the wazoo) to someone who actually wanted it.
And maybe people could expand their properity to have more Neohomes. So, say they have a house in Faerieland, they can still a buy house that's in the Lost Desert. (But it would be limited to one house per world.)

I like the idea of Neopian Real Estate , but i think it might be a bit too compicated .

I really like the idea- and I've heard other people mention the idea too. It would be a nice addition to the game, and would also give people something to do with neohomes. Right now, they're really only for show, and that's unforunate.

I think it would be great. I really like making neohomes, but scrapped mine because I don't see the point. I'd like to be able to make them and sell them.

I've seen a few people here make practically detailed speeches as to why an idea would or would not work. ^^; I was hoping I could get one on this and maybe at least have some convincing concepts to suggest to the Team about 'Neopian Real Estate'.

It might have a neat aplication if you could sell decorated homes.

For example a user could make NP by making cloud houses already decorated with cloud furniture.
They could charge a premium for doing the decorating work

I'm sure that there are people who would be interested in such a service.

Sepeartely there should probably be an option to remove a neohome entirely, although such an option doses not exist for shops so pehaps that's understandable.

The only problem with the home selling is that neopets has (for some reason) deliberately designed the process so that someone with enough np can't just build their entire house instantly. I'm not sure what hte motive here is but this may make them reluctant to allow users to sell homes

Neo Real Estate! That would be awesome. They could have real estate agents if you were around for like 45 months plus I like that idea, I don't even use my neohome, it has a lot of rooms but is empty.

I like the idea, I have a good adress with only four numbers, that I know alot of people would want. So I could easily sell I think. I also like the interior designing idea quite a bit.

I wish neohomes were easier to make. I mean, we have to actually wait for them to be "built" which is so boring. Why can't we just create and destroy as we please? I kind of wish I could remake mine in another land or do something different to it. But I don't ever use it much anyway, I wish I could just sell it really and get my money back. I mean, it isn't like pets HAVE to live anywhere anyway.

I would rather have the option to move my existing home more than anything else at the moment. It wasn't until I completely demolised my neohome on my secondary account that they added the bit about not being able to move. It seems a bit unfair considering all the new worlds that have been opened up since Neohomes were first introduced.

I don't find the idea of selling your neohome to other users at all appealing. For me, the entire point of having them is so that I can design and decorate them myself. As far as I'm concerned it'd be the same as buying and selling galleries. What would be the point of having one then? It'd also completely ruin Neohome spotlight unless there was some way to differentiate between created and purchased neohomes.

Under the current system, users are assigned addresses on a first come first served basis. The 200th person to buy a home in Faerieland lives at 200 'generic faerie street'. The 370,990th person to do the same lives at 370,990 'generic faerie street'. The reason why they won't give us the ability to relocate is because it's technically impossible unless they reprogram the system. Which is why I also do not believe they'll ever make selling, to users, an option.

I will say the Neorealty could work as a game, similar to Plushie Tycoon.

Oh, and I've got a nehome on every account except one because we can't buy plots at the Space Station yet.

Ohh. Not bad idea after all. Maybe there would be a game. A Housing Property game whereby it is like plushie tycoon. You go around sell and buy and make profits. you can even RENT out your homes. That will so TOTALLY rock.

It would be easier to have/sell property if you could actually SEE nieghborhoods.

That is SO cool! You could be like, real estate agents on Neopets. I wonder if people would build houses by famous neopians and jack up the price because your house would be near theirs.
